TRAINING PREREQUISITES
Training customers must be able to read, write, speak, and understand
the English language. Applicants must also have an understanding of
basic math and physics, and hold a high school graduation or higher
education.

All class times are 8AM to 5PM unless otherwise noted.
FOM-1 is not required for U.S. FAA Dispatcher Certification.
FOM-2 is the standard 6-week live classroom course.
FOM-2 VLP ( Virtual Learning Program ) is a hybrid of online
and live classes. The first 160 classroom hours are attended in
a virtual ( online ) classroom, followed attendance in any live
two-week Denver based class. FOM-2 VLP is not computer
based training, rather the same instructor led training as our live
classrooms. VLP students are held to live classroom standards
through instructor interactivity using webcams, audio, and 3-D
avatars. See the FOM-2 VLP course flyer for details.
FOM-2A, is a 2-Week advanced course for VLP graduates and
those with significant experience and ATP knowledge levels.
FOM-2B is a 1-Week NAA transition course, is available to
those who have graduated from a Jeppesen course located
outside the United States and wish to convert their NAA license
to the U.S. FAA license.
FAA Oral and Practical examinations will be scheduled after live
class graduation. Please verify departure dates during
registration for FAA exam scheduling purposes.
FAA Certificates: Upon successful completion of FAA exams
students are issued a Dispatch license by the FAA. Details can
be found in CFR 14 FAR 65 Subpart C.
All FOM-2 Denver classes are FAA and ICAO compliant.

VIRTUAL FAA DISPATCHER CERT (FOM-2 VLP)

DISPATCHER CERTIFICATION (FOM 1&2)
JEPPESEN ACADEMY - TRAINING SERVICES 2014 COURSE SCHEDULE DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES EMIRATES AVIATION UNIVERSITY
FOM-1 and FOM-2 are both required for Dispatcher Certification in
Kuala Lumpur and Dubai.
NAA Oral and Practical examinations will be scheduled after
graduation. Please verify departure dates upon registration.
FOM-2 Dubai is GCAA and ICAO compliant.
FOM-2 Dubai graduates can obtain DCA Malaysia Dispatcher
Certificate pending differences training and availability.
FOM-2 Dubai graduates can obtain FAA Dispatcher Certificate by
attending a conversion course in Denver, Colorado.
License: Upon successful completion participants will be issued
with a completion certificate. A GCAA Dispatcher License will be
issued only after completing On-the-Job-Training ( OJT ) for 90
working days at a recognized Dispatch Centre ( e.g. Emirates,
Etihad, Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, or other airlines/companies who are
holders of an Air Operator Certificate ( AOC ) . Please see CAAP

CLASS DETAILS
FOM-1 Only Pricing: $2000.00 which includes; Course Fee and
Registration, Student Materials/Flight Kit.
FOM-2 Only Pricing: $6075.00 which includes; Course Fee and
Registration, Student Materials/Flight Kit..
FOM-1 & FOM-2 Combined Pricing: $7575.00 which includes;
Course Fee and Registration, Student Materials/Flight Kit.
Additional Examination Fees: Oral and Practical Examination Fee
of $330 or $165 for retakes ( to be paid in cash to the examiner
during the exam day ) , GCAA License Fee of AED 900, and EAC
Processing Fee of AED 200.
PRICING
Student Housing; EAC can arrange on campus housing on a first
come first served basis. Pricing ranges between AED 100-150 per
room per night ( subject to change ) . Please contact EAC directly
to obtain information on pricing and availability.
Student VISA; EAC can provide/sponsor UAE entrance . Additional

FOM-2 Frankfurt is EASA and ICAO compliant.
FOM-2 Frankfurt graduates can obtain the FAA Dispatcher
Certificate by attending a conversion course in Denver,
Colorado.
License: No license is currently available at this location.
Current EASA regulations do not require licensing of
dispatchers. For those who wish to obtain a license we can
combine above class with the FOM 2A course in Denver at
extra cost for FAA certification.

Accommodations: A list with hotels or apartments can be
supplied on request.
Student VISA: Jeppesen can help to obtain visas by supplying
