We met at church in a college Bible Study, where

Jay played drums, and

Jennifer helped take care

of a disabled woman. We

noticed each other, and soon

started dating. We dated for

4 months before we knew we

belonged together. We got

married on a rainy day, and

we had a bagpiper play at

the wedding! Now, we live in a cozy house with our little dog, Renee.

JAY WORKS FULL TIME, and JENNIFER STAYS HOME. In the evenings,

we like to try new dishes

for dinner, or try a new

restaurant. We also take

Renee for walks after

dinner when we can. On the

weekends, we like to take

road trips. We belong to a

car club, so we go for a lot

of drives with the group, and

often take the car on the

racetrack.

WE WANT TO ADOPT A BABY because we want to share our

love and our life with a little one. Also, we love music, and the sound

of a baby’s laughter is the best

music in the world! We truly enjoy

each other and the quiet little life

we have together, and we would

love to share all we have. Jennifer

has a neurological condition that

makes pregnancy too risky, but the

condition is completely controlled

with medicine, and our neurologist

assures us she will be a fine mother.

We both grew up with loving

parents who gave us fun childhood

memories, & we look forward to being loving parents ourselves, & giving fun childhood memories to our future child.

I grew up in Virginia with loving

parents. Even though they were

divorced, they made sure that I

knew I was loved. After graduating

high school, I pursued my dream of

becoming a professional musician,

which led me to Hollywood,

California, where I attended the

Musicians’ Institute. I’m very thankful

that my parents were supportive and

allowed me to pursue my passion.

However, my passion changed after

meeting Jennifer. I decided to enjoy a quiet life at home, rather than the life of a musician on the road.

Soon after graduating the Musicians’

Institute, my life changed. I became

a Christian. That change gave me a

better outlook on life and family. I see family and faithfulness to God as the most important aspects of life. I serve God by serving and

loving my family. I now work as an audio engineer for a Christian radio broadcast. It’s a wonderful

environment with friends who share

the same values as me.

Jay is very responsible,

and a hard worker. He

also has a huge heart. I

love to see how protective he

is of his nieces. I love to watch him interacting with children, as he is so gentle and tender. He is a perfect blend of

strength and gentleness!

When I first saw Jennifer,

I was attracted to her

beauty. After getting to know her, I was much more attracted to her love and service to others. We were very comfortable

together. We laughed together, and

immediately felt like we belonged

together.

Jennifer has worked and

volunteered in many

classrooms. It’s apparent

that she loves children. She

also likes to help with the

homeschooling of some of

our friend’s kids. The kids

love it when she comes over,

because she makes learning

fun for them. Jennifer will be a great mother because loving her children will be her first priority.

Shortly after Jay and I were

married, I got a job close

to home at the local library.

After a few years, I decided I wanted to focus on home and family. I now volunteer in several different places, and I have plenty of time to see family and friends. I also spend time with our

neighbors. I do all I can to

foster strong relationships.

I believe our relationships

are vital to health and

happiness.

Our Christian faith is

very important to us.

It teaches us to love

and forgive, and that is the

foundation of our marriage. We go to church every Sunday, and also attend a weekly Bible study. We have many

dear friends at church who are

like family to us. We believe

spiritual health is an important

part of life for everyone.

JAY’S MOM recently moved to our neighborhood from

Virginia, so his nieces Taylor and Brooke came to visit. We

enjoyed taking them both hiking, and taking them to tour

Hollywood and go sight seeing in Los Angeles. Jay’s dad

also came to visit recently, and we had fun taking him to the

beach and trying new restaurants together.

JENNIFER’S DAD lives at the beach not too far from

us, so we see him regularly. Jennifer’s sister makes a trip

to Southern California a few times a year, and we enjoy a

family reunion. We love to walk around the beach town

where my dad lives!

Our community is one of the safest cities in the country. We

have a lot of open outdoor space, with a lot of nature trails

in the hills, and sidewalks through the community away from

the main roads. We can use these safe and quiet trails to walk

to many parks and shopping centers. The community is very family-friendly, and offers many classes for all walks of life, from infants to senior citizens. The city also hosts several outdoor

music concerts every week in the summer, and fairs throughout

the year.

Renee is our little dog who is part corgi, and was born in Korea. A

business woman found her

there, and brought her back

to America. She came to

live with us when she was

2, and she’s been here for

3 years. She barks a lot at

new people, but as soon as

someone pets her, they are

her new best friend. Renee

is addicted to love. She can’t

have enough people petting

her. She loves it when kids come over!
