The Jenks Public Schools (District) requests your proposals for the maintenance vehicles as described below. All substitutions, additions or deletions to the specification must be shown on your bid. A. Proposals should be prepared simply and economically, providing a straightforward, to satisfy the requirements of the request. Emphasis should be on completeness and clarity of content. Use of both sides of paper sheets for any submittals to the District is desirable whenever practicable.

B. All proposals must include the following information:

a. Properly executed Business Relationship & Non-collusion Affidavit b. Delivery datec. Price per vehicle (both scenarios) with options noted & summary of included options

C. Proposal Evaluation Criteria in alphabetical order: (Criteria weighting already established)

a. Bid documentation - Complete and properly presentedb. Delivery - agreed & historical. c. History with district - Length and caliber of existing relationshipd. Price - Reasonable price and identified costse. Specification - Meet or exceed specification- limited exceptions Note; there are two

options for proposals- please submit proposals for both options in section V.f. Total Cost of Ownership- lifetime expenses to maintain and operate vehiclesg. Warranty- Warranty backing of proposed solution Warranty backing of proposed solution

Per the Jenks Board of Education policy “Where it serves the district’s best interest, the district may award a written quote, a sealed bid or a proposal on a “best value” basis in the sole opinion of the District, taking into consideration the total cost of ownership including purchase price, quality, ability to deliver, maintenance and service, durability and longevity.”

IV. TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

A. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive minor irregularities in any proposal.

B. The District reserves the right to request clarification of information submitted, and to request additional information from any submitter.

C. The District reserves the right to award any contract to the next most qualified contractor, if the successful contractor does not execute a contract within ten (10) days after the award of the proposal.

D. Any proposal may be withdrawn up until the date and time set above for notification of frims. Any proposal not so timely withdrawn shall constitute an irrevocable offer, for a period of ninety (90) days to sell to the District, the services described in the attached specifications, or until one or more of the proposals have been approved by the District administration, whichever occurs first.

E. The District shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the firm in preparing, submitting or presenting its response to the RFP.

F. Standard District terms and conditions herein included shall apply.

V. PROJECT DETAILS AND SCOPE.

A total of 4-5 vehicles are needed. All of the vehicles should include the following:

1. White paint2. The “fleet” or “work” package3. Air conditioning4. 5.3 -6 liter engine5. Rubber floor mats6. Cloth interior7. Automatic transmission8. ¾ ton chassis 9. 2 door cab with a long wheel base

Option 1:

1 - ¾ ton truck

2 - ¾ ton trucks equipped with Knapheide service body model 696 J or equivalent

1 - 2 ¾ ton work truck(s) equipped with Knapheide service body 696 J and Tommy lift gate model 54-1340 TP or equivalent

Option 2:

3 - ¾ ton truck

1 - 2 ¾ ton work truck(s) equipped with Tommy lift gate model 54-1340 TP or equivalent
