European Patent Attorneys • Chartered Patent Attorneys • Trade Mark Attorneys
1937With the growth of worldwide trade and the gradual disappearance
of international trade barriers, businesses increasingly recognise
the need to establish distinctive products and services by way of
innovation, design and branding. Intellectual property is the
product of such ingenuity.
Jenkins specialises in the protection of intellectual property
worldwide. We have a wealth of experience in the UK, Europe and
further afield. Our firm provides a comprehensive service in the
protection, maintenance, defence and enforcement of IP assets in
all technical fields.
We are a firm of patent and trade mark attorneys and certified patent, trade mark and design litigators. We were founded in 1937 and have built one of the largest and most successful intellectual property practices in the United Kingdom. We have offices in London, Bristol, Farnham and Munich.
We believe that the success of our firm is based on our unique
and diverse mix of professional expertise gained within
industry and private practice. Our team has experience in all
major technical fields and we use our specialist knowledge
and insider know-how to help our clients secure a competitive
edge. We aim to add value to each job we handle. For us, our
clients’ business goals are paramount.
We provide clear and focused strategic advice and unmatched
breadth and depth of experience. We find effective and cost-
effective solutions to our clients’ IP problems.
Litigation & Oppositions
Our IP litigators are experienced in the
enforcement and defence of IP rights. We can
handle enforcement matters before the courts,
as well as representing our clients in pre-action
correspondence, negotiations, mediation and
settlement.
We have substantial experience and expertise
in contentious matters before the European
Patent Office. We have handled over 100 EPO
oppositions, many in languages other than
English.
Global Reach
We have developed an extensive international
network of experienced and cost-effective
associates. This network is reviewed regularly
to ensure that high standards of service are
maintained and that the most competitive pricing
deals are obtained for our clients.
Multilingual Capability
Many of our attorneys are bilingual or multilingual.
This capability means that we can act directly in
many countries without incurring translation
costs. It also means that correspondence or
documents in foreign languages can be reported
to you immediately, without the need to wait for
translations.
Our patent services include:
• preliminary investigations/due diligence on securing a patent;

• conducting searches to avoid infringement;
