and social inclusion of the ROM community in Lecce.

Last year thanks to regional funding (Principi Attivi)

we launched the project

an after school homework club for the children from

Campo Panareo.

Education is the first

step towards

social inclusion!

Through out the year 26 children took the

after school bus from the camp to the After

school homework club. It was there that

they spent 3 hours a day studying, playing,

learning with Alessandra, Katia Tina, Ester

and other AlterAmente volunteers.

The Results were Incredible!

It’s an experience that

wE sImply must rEpEat!

All the children improved their school

grades and their relationships with

teachers and classmates. However above

all they discovered the importance of

studying and that it can be fun!
