Creator/Purpose: I'm a writer whose many articles have been read by millions of people. My goal as a writer is to motivate, inform, enlighten and entertain my readers and leave them feeling uplifted. Organisations/Memberships: World Genius Directory, Mensa, Triple Nine Society, Poetic Genius Society and Mensa's Exceptionally & Profoundly Gifted Special Interest Group. Why work with IQ: Even though intelligence has often been marginalized and ridiculed throughout mainstream culture, there is no question that those with the highest levels of intelligence have been, and will continue to be at the forefront of humanity's advancement. Goal for IQ as a WGD Ambassador Genius of the Year: My goal as America's 2016 Genius of the Year is to give hope and encouragement to everyone with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I have a form of autism called Asperger's Syndrome and know all-too-well what it feels like to not fit in. But then again, why should any of us try to fit in when we were born destined for bigger and far better things than just being ordinary? Statement for the World: My name is Jeffery Alan Ford and I often felt like the biggest misfit/loser who ever walked down a high school hallway. I somehow survived the bullying and marginalization I endured throughout grades K-12 and learned to truly love education. I encourage everyone to read from a wide variety of sources, develop an extensive vocabulary and to learn proper grammar so that you can mentally have the tools and proper syntax to form higher level thoughts. But most of all, be loving and kind to others and yourself. You're the only you this world will ever have – so keep moving forward and make your life a masterpiece!
