In Indian Cultural and Spiritual History, Lakshmi Sadhana holds a vary significant place. Some of our cultural and spiritual luminaries have prescribed rules of Lakshmi Sadhana. These are more fruit bearing during Deepawali.

Rishi Vashishtth once said to his disciple

Aarambik about Lakshmi Sadhana. There is no other Sadhana

much greater than this. He said, 'There is no other Mantra more

powerful than it. I wish

to accomplish this Sadhana so that I

could have the blessings of the Goddess

Lakshmi.'

One a Friday, Rishi Vashishtth placed a

Lakshmi Yantra before himself and

made it consecrated with Shreerodaya

Mantra. Then he lit four lamps

representing Riddhi (wealth), Siddhi

(spiritual powers), Shubh (luck) and

Laabh (gains). Then with a Sfatik

rosary he started to chant the following

Mantra. The Mantra given by Vashishtth

is

For this Sadhana he had a bath at night and sat on a yellow mat facing east. And as he

completed 21 rounds of the Mantra, Goddess Lakshmi appeared and blessed his

hermitage with wealth and prosperity.

Rishi Pulatsya accomplished a very special Lakshmi Sadhana two. First time he did it

like this: - He placed a Shree Lakshmi Yantra in a copper plate and lit a ghee lamp.

He sat on a yellow mat facing North. Then with a White Hakeek rosary he completed

11 rounds of a Mantra which compelled Lakshmi to appear. The Mantra used by the

Rishi was

Shankaracharya on his Guru's advice, performed Lakshmi Pooja like this: On a

Sunday night took a plate of copper or bronze and smeared black lamp over it. Then

with a silver straw drew a picture of Goddess Lakshmi on it. On it placed an

Eishwarya Lakshmi Yantra. Then wore white robes and sat facing North. Prepared

four lamps of dough and filled them with sesame or mustard oil. Placed them on the

four corners of the plate. Then with a Coral rosary chanted 31 rounds of the following

Goddess endowed everything upon him.

Some of the greatest masters of the world of Tantra

have done Lakshmi Pooja too. Their rituals have been

guarded secretly for ages, for they are very powerful

and quick in producing results. It is said that the Sun

might well fail to rise from the East but these rituals

cannot.

In the field of Tantra Guru Gorakhnath is remembered

with great respect. He accomplished a very powerful

Sadhana of Goddress Lakshmi and made his

hermitage so prosperous that no matter how much

was spent, the wealth never ran out. It is said that

Goddess Lakshmi ever remained present in his

hermitage. Many yogis even claimed to have her

glimpse there.

At a Sunday night, place a Shwetaark Ganpati in a

plate and smear it with vermilion. Then with a silver

straw write on the idol

At night wear a Dhoti/Saree and stand facing the East.

Then with a Sfatik rosary chant 11 rounds of the

following Mantra.

Do not sit down or sleep or drink water till 11 rounds

are over. If you feel tired you can stand against a wall.

There is no need of any lamp or incense in this

Sadhana. If you wish you can light an oil or ghee

lamp. This is an unfailing ritual and is very success

oriented.

Guru Matsyendranath is as famous as Gorakhnath in

the field to Tantra. It is said that when it comes to the

highest level of Sadhana Guru Matsyendranath was

even more accomplished than Guru Gorakhnath. He

had accomplished a very secret Sadhana related to

Goddess Lakshmi which I found in a Tibetan text.

Have a bath and wear a clean Dhoti. Don't wear any

other cloth. Sit on the floor without any mat facing the

North. Place a Heera Shankh before yourself. Then

with a Hakeek rosary chant 31 rounds of the

following Mantra.

This is a powerful Mantra made of Beej Mantras. It is

really very effective and each Sadhak should try to

make the best use of it.

Foretelling future happenings is a complex

process. The Greek word 'Mantei' means foretelling.

Thus, the word oneiromancy means the interpretation

of dreams in order to foretell the future: oneiros dream

and manteia foretell.

Once a Roman emperor had a dream. Seven

white cows were grazing luscious green grass on a

river bunk. Then, suddenly, appeared seven black

horrible cows from nowhere and ate up the white cows.

The royal astrologer then told the king how there would

be great prosperity and abundant production for seven

years and afterwards seven years of dearth and

famine. The king took the precautionary measures and

saved his people. Dream interpretation was popular in

Indian too.

your heart, your intuition.

If you have had some experience with the tarot, simply choose what you feel drawn to, what causes you to feel somewhat more aware of your own powers of intuition.

Many beginners have questions about how to handle their tarot decks. They are concerned about doing it wrong, and negatively affecting the accuracy of the readings. My advice is to do what feels right. Generally, I shuffle the cards five or seven times, cut three times, and proceed.

and store in a wooden box. This is great, but I have found it to be quite unnecessary.

I use reversed cards with most decks, and in most readings. However, there are some decks I feel quite comfortable not using reversed cards with. It is up to you.

Using several spreads together gives you the opportunity for more depth, and more specific answers. It is not necessary though, and I would certainly suggest not overdoing it either.

Have trust! If I had to have a rule, this would be it. Trust that the tarot can offer you insight, understanding, and an idea of the future.

Very important... the tarot is wonderful, but avoid relying upon it. Please do not substitute the tarot (an external means) for your own intuitive abilities.
