NSS Regional Directorate, Chandigarh is organizing a Ten Days Pre- Republic

Day Camp. The camp will be held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidalaya, Sector -25,

Chandigall<UT) w.ef 26th October 2016 to 4th November 2016.

In this regard, please find enclose herewith a list of 20 NSS volunteers (10 Girls +

10 Boys) selected from the different colleges and schools in Delhi.

Entire guidelines is available in the Oovt. of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs &

Sports letter No FNoP-24/NSS/RDD/2016-17/Pre-RD dated 20'h October 2016 (copy

enclosed).

All the Principals / Head of concerned Schools / Head of concerned Collges are

requested to bring this information into the knowledge to concerned NSS volunteers, as

per list attached, of their institutions enable them to make their travel plan accordingly.

NSS Regional Directorate. Chandigarh is organizing a Ten Days Pre-Republic Day Parade CamE"The camp will be held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sector-2S, Chandigarh (U.T) w.e.f 26t1:o October-4November, 2016.

In this regard, you are requested to kindly depute the volunteers as proposed by NSSheadquarter with contingent leaders. The contingent may please be instructed to report to the camp site on25th evening or 26th October morning and they will be free to leave the camp on 4.11.2016 afternoon.Accordingly they may be advised to book their onward and return journey for the above camp.How to reach the Venue & Weather

Chandigarh is well connected by road and rail. The distance from Chandigarh Bus stand Scctor-ajto Camp Site is 6Kms, from tSBT Sector-J? it is 4 Krns and 12Kms from Chandigarh Railway Station. Inthe month of October the minimum night temperature of this region drops 20 Degree Celsius. TheVolunteers should bring sufficient woollen clothes to protect themselves from the cold weather.

All the participants should bring their own light bedding, utensils and daily routine toiletry itemsalong With the articles (list enclosed). The participants may be advised not to carry any costly articles andornaments with them. The volunteers themselves shall be responsible for any loss due to theft or otherwise.

The participants must carr', with them their University Banner, press clippings, action photographsof important activities for exhibition in campus and also carry their musicalinS\l"urnents/CDs/Cassettes/Recorders and Costumes etc. for presentation during the cultural programme.

It is pertinent to mention here that all the participants must carry the following essential documentsduly filled In and signed.I. Form of Indemnity.2. Certificate of Medical Fitness.3. Bona-fide NSS Volunteer ship certificate.4. Three recent coloured Passport size photographs.

Free boarding and lodging will be provided to all the participants during [he camp. Second clas:mil/bus fare by the shortest route of journey will be reimbursed in the camp by the organizers on productiorof original tickets only.
