Department – Oil Operations

Title – Analyst 

Main Purpose 

Physical oil products operations and trader support. Co-ordinates all aspects of the post-deal trading

activity to ensure contract execution runs smoothly. Provide commercial/market information to the trader

as necessary.

Key Responsibilities 

Obtain clean acceptance of vessels on subjects and notify Chartering of progress in this regard.

Revie and comment on contracts.

!ssue voyage orders and "O!#s to $hip-oners. %onitor progress of the vessel during voyages.

 &ppoint $hipping &gents and !ndependent !nspectors.

!ssue documentary instructions to Contract $upplier.

Check freight calculations against C/P and arrange for the payment of same.

"iaise/Coordinate ith 'inance( providing them ith accurate and timely data needed for issuing of "/C#s

and obtaining P/)s..

*nsure invoicing of and payment of cargoes. %onitor accounts receivables and issue interest invoices

here applicable.

%aximi+e recoveries and ensure that all claims to third parties are correctly documented and presented.

$ecure payment of third party claims.

%aintain good Contract and $hipping files.

%aintain good orking practice ith other ,rade support divisions keeping emurrage section advised

ith progress /status of vessels at load and discharge ports.

*nsure that Pluto is the primary tool for information is updated regularly and at all times reflects the latest

information available.

%onitors and advises deals desk all costs related ith each transaction P0" aareness1

Prepare cargo / chaterer liability insurance declarations in a timely manner

Completes voyage reconciliations and identifies loss/gain differences for every operation

Complete storage reconciliations and identify and investigate loss/gain differences

Responsible for all aspects of customs exportation/importation here applicable.

Collect information for trading opportunities2 provide technical and team management support to 3roup
