Job Specification Business: A rapidly growing business and confectionery business with an approx T/o of $200M with a No. 2 position in the industry. The business is poised for leadership backed by some exciting innovation plans to drive expansion. It is a complex business with multiple factories and a staff strength of over 1500. Responsibilities Would have to ensure successful integration of the business to start with Accountable for the top and bottom line delivery in line with expectations (investment thesis) Setting direction and pace for achieving leadership in the next 3 years Embedding cutting edge practices in Marketing, Sales and distribution: o Ensuring marketing investments to drive brand preference o Strengthening the sales and distribution structure Leading development and execution of innovations for sustained competitiveness. Driving timely execution of capex related to meet expansion plans Managing and motivating functional heads ; and providing leadership to the overall team Experience: 5 to 10years experience in a top FMCG , preferably foods; demonstrated skills in a leadership position or heading a function (preferably marketing/sales) with the multi functional exposure (marketing, sales , manufacturing, finance exposure) and experience of leading cross functional teams (experience of working in a matrix organization would be an advantage). Demonstrated leadership skills with the capability of managing large high performing managerial teams ; and working with staff in a unionized environment. Must be process oriented with a high level of drive and energy to bring about change. Must possess good communication skills to be able to manage a multicultural environment. Qualifications: An MBA from a reputed school, preferably with an engineering or food technology background. An Engineer from a top quality school or a CA would also be welcome.
