Message from the President of the Senate JCI Colombia 2015.- Dear friends (as) forever , they receive a fraternal greeting and senatorial ! The city of Santos Reyes Cacique uPAR held from 9 to 11 October this year , the Fifty- Ninth ( 59 ) National Convention and the organizers extend to all without exception , a warm welcome, with open arms and heart full of fraternal feelings. Valledupar, is a musical, cultural and folk epicenter and its landscapes and its people, has a rich agenda to offer everyone at the top event of the Junior and Senators. It has emerged as the world capital of Vallenato music genre more popular in the country and currently symbol of Colombian music and this facilitates flowing recreational activities, the sound of accordions. The Senate and the privilege Juniorismo friendship and partying, it's a song that noble sentiment. There is no better stage. For our part, the Senate has worked to provide a fun and rewarding agenda. on October 9 It begins with a tour of the city in the afternoon, and spliced with the solemn installation ceremony, in which we have the presentation of the "Children of Vallenato". The next day, the Senators go for a walk to the picturesque village of Manaure, located half an hour from Valledupar, in the foothills of the Serrania de Perija. There the local authorities will make us a reception at the Simon Bolivar Park and ended in "Villa Adelaida" destination and where we enjoy a musical accompaniment and lush vegetation. In the evening hours, the Senate JCI Colombia, provides a formal dinner to all active members, which constitutes a space for fellowship and to recognition for the work done by each of the Directors and presidents of local councils. It is a stage to rediscover and renew our bond. On Sunday October 11, we have the second walk, which starts at the edge of the legendary Rio Badillo, and Octavio Daza inspired the composer to write the song of the same name immortalized Claudia de Colombia. Then you get to Patillal, peaceful village, the birthplace of great composers, including the immortal Rafael Escalona. We continue to Atanquez, stoned Indian village where time stood still. Later we reached the Rio Mina, known for his sculptural rocks, sculpted by the passage of water and giving it a surreal touch. Here we take a swim in the waters flowing from the Sierra Nevada and have a typical lunch. To return in the afternoon, we the Annual Meeting of the Senate, which is named after the beloved Senator "John Guido Moreno Pazmin" to pay a fitting tribute; management reports, regarding the work done this year are presented, to make a "dynamic and integrated SENATE" and the main leaders must uphold the banner of JCI Senate Colombia during 2016. People are chosen to make priority in their agendas and budgets, tasks, commitments and responsibilities, with the infinite enthusiasm to produce, wield these honorable positions. Finally, as closing, it is scheduled to close, with elegant sophisticated look, solemn and deserves, to be the last major event nationwide. Has this Convention, the peculiarity, which is part of the 100th anniversary of the JCI movement and this gives a magical, special and meaningful sense. To this is added the determination of a group of enthusiastic people, who have been revealed, so that through work, activities become extraordinary positive results. Welcome to the Centennial Convention!

How quickly time passes JCI !! .- They are a hundred years after it was founded JCI (1915-2015) and celebrate those who have had the privilege to belong to this wonderful organization, which its philosophy and its surroundings made us become a lifestyle Junior be . After finishing my career in public accounting in 1987 at the Free University of Cali, just graduated as any student leader I was in college I was obliged and finding an activity that allowed me to develop or supplement my activities. In this desire to do so as the middle of 1988 have the great opportunity and I receive invitation of former junior Edgar Posada in Cali to attend a meeting at the Intercontinental Hotel where a group of young professionals gathered to discuss, train and share on a non-profit organization called Junior Chamber, and where they could also promote programs that could be done to benefit the community, in addition to receiving training in this space in the personal and professional level. From the first meeting I attended as a guest to Chapter Cali Junior Chamber of Colombia as it was called in those days today JCI Colombia and OL today that unfortunately no longer exists in our beloved city of Cali, I stay there for learning by doing and my education, that wonderful organization and this since 28 years, time flies that truth! That it was for Colombia pride and JCI have juniors featured in our city and of remembering names of our illustrious national presidents. Carlos Guillermo Polo, Aymer Vinasco, Victor Manuel Hernandez, Jorge Humberto Rojas, Alejandro Larreamendy, among others that gave name to our organization, for his dedication to his work and what they brought in their Junior life. It be that youth today it is in search of other activities to develop altruism that led us to belong to institutions like ours, hoping that in the near future we will have the opportunity to have this beautiful organization again in the city Cali, we know and are aware that there is global crisis as members in JCI, but I kindly invite the directors of JCI Colombia to turn their eyes to our beloved city of Cali to see how among all relive that seed of Juniorismo. We as JCI Senators believe and feel that we can be part of the solution, the nostalgia that overwhelms us today does not take away the desire to support, we know there is a lot of experience in our friends Senators to guide but not to do, and we had our room who will arrive yours. JCI there we got from the beginning many tools in the long run so I consider wonderful organization that we would later develop public speaking skills as managing meetings, project development, among others. A Decade of Growth global.- In early November of this year 2015 arrived a decade of income to JCI, which has led to a tour from watching photos, certificates of attendance at events and awards, to remember memorable moments and stages that have had the opportunity to live and enjoy since 4 November 2005. Today as a member of Board of Directors of JCI Senate Colombia and performing a decade spent in JCI, come to my early memories, traced to mid-2005 when the now former member of JCI Santa Marta, Wendy González, invited me to part of their induction course Local Organization fields motivating me the same opportunity presented and decide to go into a scenario that would allow me to grow personally and professionally, which led to an active member JCI early November 2005 developing the Local Presidency chaired by then would the President JCI Colombia 2014, Leonardo Perez Arias. The opportunities are presented in a timely manner, the I become a member of the next JCI the permitted age limit, I've been looking to take the time and delve into a world of knowledge and friendships which still cherish, starting with program management, Local Vice, President JCI Santa Marta, parallel to this assistance to JCI Training courses, participation in events of regional, national and continental order, which led the advance various tasks that had been doing in my personal and family life, such as: participation in social, travel, community programs, finance, protocol, passion for photography, teamwork, group management, training, sharing with people from different cities and countries, among other opportunities, for about five years as active member of JCI, abundant contributions, achievements and anecdotes, which led to recognition as JCI Senator distinction since December 2010 has allowed me to explore other topics JCI occupying the start positions in the Senate Council in Santa Marta and then Board JCI Senate Colombia so far, also continue to provide assistance to JCI and JCI Colombia Santa Marta. The tour before annotated performed with dedication and effort , tinged with several awards for shares outstanding as a member JCI Colombia and then Senator JCI motivate maintain and improve identifiable characteristics in the actions JCI , enjoy God willing in the city of Valledupar JCI Convention Colombia 2015 , which would be the 10th in a row, participate in future JCI Conferences and JCI World Congress area , allowing it to grow and share knowledge and experiences with my local organization based JCI Santa Marta , Colombia JCI , the JCI Senate Colombia , ASAC JCI and JCI International Foundation , supporting its various processes. Finish by thanking God , my family and friends (as) JCI share in this decade what I call global growth to spiritual and professional level staff.

At the 2015 JCI World Congress in Kanazawa, Japan, Chief Delegates and National Presidents from JCI Organizations from around the world will gather to elect the leaders of the international organization for 2016. Your chosen representatives will be selected from the following list of candidates, including the 2016 JCI Vice Presidents, Executive Vice Presidents and the 2016 JCI President. Message of the Director General VIII Encounter of JCI Senators, Surinam, August 17 - 20/2016.- It is with great pride and pleasure that Suriname JCI Senators accepted the challenge of organizing the 8th. JCI Senators Encounter of the Americas and the Caribbean in the city of Paramaribo, Suriname, from 17 to 20 August 2016. We open our arms to give all JCI Senators the warmest welcome and invite them to an event which will enjoy the most and undoubtedly be an unforgettable one. The Organizing Committee I am honored to lead, is an experienced one at national and international level in such events, so we will do the best to make every detail covered to satisfaction and delight of our distinguished guests. The headquarters will be the five stars “Hotel Torarica”, located downtown in one of the best parts of our city with, a site of great prestige. It has one of the best restaurants in town, so we are confident you can once again enjoy the camaraderie and friendship that distinguishes JCI Senators of the Americas and the Caribbean. The program that we are preparing is varied and plenty of fun, providing an opportunity for attendees to meet our country Suriname, visiting the city of Paramaribo; also we prepare to visit ancient plantations and oil industry; enjoy our delicious cuisine and of course something you cannot miss, the joyful music of Suriname.
