PART D: Additional Security ScrutinyAs a C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) certified highway carrier, JBF Express, Inc. isultimately responsible for all cargo loaded aboard our trucks, specifically that of security. JBF Express, Inc. iscommitted to ensuring the security and integrity of all ofthe freight loaded aboard our trucks. To do so it isimperative that JBF Express, Inc. is satisfied that certain minimu,m security standards are adhered to by all of it'sbusiness partners and/or customers. JBF Express, In<. is required to ask specific security questions and expectsminimum security policies and procedures will be adhered to as follows:

I . All paperwork and documents (bills of lading, manifests, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, etc.)must be complete, legible, accurate, and protected against the exchange of information, loss of

. information, or introduction of erroneous information.2. JBF Express, Inc. must receive all necessary documents at our olfice for review and for submission to custom

brokerages, US Customs (CBP) and/or Canada Customs prior to the pickup of freight by our drivers. The saiddocuments and cargo must pass the following scrutin, as well as any additional scrutiny that is deemednecessary by JBF Express, Inc.

A. Are the documents suspicious?B. ls the cargo suspicious?

. C. Does the shipment originate from an unusual location?D. ls the shipment destined for an unusual location?E. Was the shipment paid for by cash or certified?F. Are there any unusual or suspicious routing methods involving the shipment?G. Are there any unusual shipping and/or receiving methods involving the shipment?

. H. Do the documents provide vague, generalized, poor and/or misleading information?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, the suspicious activity will be reported to the nearestUS Customs (CBP) office and/or Canada Customs office.

'3. All cargo must be stored in a location which isto be constantly locked and/or monitored byan authorizedand appropriate personnel until the cargo is picked up byJBF Express, Inc.

4. All shipping documents and paperwork must be stored in a location which is constantly locked and/ormonitored by authorized and appropriate personnel until the time possession is turned over to JBF Express,Inc.

5. Cargo and documents are only to be tendered tolreceived from individuals who present valid JBF Express,, Inc. company issued photo identification.
