Dual Status Youth Committee, Hillsborough County Courthouse Tampa, FL 06/2015 – 02/2016 Member of a committee comprised of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the Tampa

Police Department, Eckerd Community Alternatives, the Department of Children & Families, a retired judge, and the Guardian Ad Litem Foundation of Tampa Bay Provide input from the perspective of a youth formerly in the foster care system

Successfully proposed a pilot program to use martial arts as an evening activity for youth in Tampa group-homes with thigh rates of arrests and Baker Acts

Obtained funding from private sources in the community Made a presentation regarding possible ways to improve Hillsborough County’s Family

Dependency Treatment Court and its possible expansion to include juvenile dependencies
