Jason worked as an Intern in the Information Technology department at Scripps Networks Interactive the summer of 2014. Jason’s main role was performing Support Desk (Helpdesk) support for our domestic and international offices – over 2,000 users. After a couple of weeks of shadowing, Jason jumped into the phone and email queues with enthusiasm. He quickly learned our processes and procedures, including Sarbanes Oxley controls, and followed them precisely. He provided excellent technical troubleshooting on Windows and Macs and performed Active Directory administrative tasks. When we had “call storms,” Jason handled himself with composure and remain even-keeled. If I had an open position, I would hire Jason full time. He has a positive attitude, was always prompt, and was a great team player – he’d come in early and stay late if the queue was busy. He has strong technical skills, is a quick learner, and had a great rapport with his co-workers and end users. With his combination of customer service and technical skills, I’m confident that Jason would make a great addition to your team.
