About Us We met through mutual friends at church about 15 years ago. We spent a lot of time talking on the phone and hanging out with friends and family for about a year before we started dating. In that year before we started dating, we truly became best friends. We love that we can be completely ourselves with each other and spend most of our time together joking and laughing. We’ve always joked that we were an old married couple because we’ve always watched Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy every night. Now we love just being together as a family, spending lots of time outside in the backyard in the summer and hanging out by the fireplace in the winter. We’ve been together for 14 years and married for 11 and we are very committed to always to supporting each other in our marriage. We are Christians who try to let God lead us in every part of our life and we are so thankful for the financial security he has blessed us with.

Jason is the owner of a daycare. His job allows him to work from home often, which gives him the chance to be involved with the kids every day. He truly has such a heart for the kids that come to his daycare center and loves his job.

Ashley is a stay at home mom and a part time wedding/family photographer. She also homeschools the kids and loves that more than she can describe. She loves the quality time she gets with them and how awesome it is to see them learn new things.

Jason is my very best friend and truly the most awesome husband and dad. He really is exceptional. Whether it’s watching the kids all day so I can get out of the house to have time to myself, taking care of all of the laundry, doing the grocery shopping, or reading stories to the kids at night for bedtime, he goes above and beyond for the people he loves. He is so excited to have another Daddy’s girl.

Jason loves hanging out with all kinds of people. He is always smiling, laughing, and joking. One of my favorite things about him is how he teases the ones he loves. It has a way of making you feel special! He loves golfing, softball, volleyball, ping pong, or just being outside. He is always looking to give every opportunity and memory to his family. He pushes me to dream, instead of just staying in my comfort zone. I’m so blessed and thankful to have him.

Ashley is a very kind, loving, and loyal wife. She truly is my best friend. I love her beautiful smile and how often she makes me laugh. She is always there when I need her, even if just to listen. She is an awesome mom. The patience she has with the kids is amazing. She

loves homeschooling them because it allows her to spend as much time with them as possible. She is very much a peacemaker, which has been a really calming force in our family. I’m very thankful for her. Ashley loves playing and watching tennis. She has loved horses her whole life and has dreams of us owning our own some day. She’s a very good cook and loves to bake, making the best no bake cookies. She also loves making art projects with the kids and she loves being silly with them. There’s a lot of dance parties that happen with her and the kids in the kitchen. I love that she’s such a fun Mom.

Our Family & Friends Family is truly everything to us. Besides our faith, we don’t think anything else in this life is as important as the time spent with your loved ones. We both are very close to our parents and siblings. Ashley’s parents live in the house on the street behind us and we can walk right over if we need anything. They are a huge help and support. Ashley’s older sister and her husband have 5 kids and live about 5 minutes away. Our kids are super close to their cousins and they love spending as much time together as they can. Ashley also has a younger brother and he and his wife have two dogs that love to hang out with the cousins too. Ashley’s family gets together every Sunday to hang out and have dinner together.

Jason’s family is constantly keeping up with each other in a family group text sending pictures and messages daily. He and his older sister talk on the phone most days. She and her husband have three children, including their youngest boy who was adopted. It’s been awesome to see firsthand what a blessing he has been to the family and what a gift adoption is. Jason’s also very close to his big extended family, including cousins and aunts and uncles.

We have 3 children, a girl and two boys.Our oldest is Evelyn is 8 and she’s such a sweet girl who loves talking to everyone she meets. She is such a huge help to me with her younger siblings and can’t wait to meet her new baby sister whenever she comes. Sully is 7 and he is our curious boy with a sensitive heart. His nickname is “Pete” and he loves being a big brother and has a lot of love he wants to share with another little sibling. Our youngest is Bearett, our “Bear”, and his name couldn’t suit him any better. He is a chunky, cuddly, happy boy and has brought so much joy to us all . He has only confirmed how much we would love to add another little one to our family through adoption.

Where We Live

We live in a suburban neighborhood in a one story brick ranch with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We also have a covered patio and

swing set in the backyard. Our favorite family times in the winter are spent in front of the

fireplace by the Christmas tree. In the summer, we love sitting barefoot on the back patio while the kids play. There is a great park and tennis courts less than a mile from our house. There is also a recreation center with with an indoor

pool, baseball fields, soccer fields, and basketball courts. There are also several churches within

miles of our house.

Why Adopt?About 4 years ago, we started to feel God drawing our hearts more towards adoption. Soon the drawing became more specific and we both felt a baby

girl would be added to our family through adoption some day. We have been so excited about this and often imagine her in every part of our lives, even

though we don’t know who she is yet! We dream about when we will finally meet her all the time, especially our daughter Evie who has been praying to meet her baby sister for a few years now! I know she is going to be such a

blessing to our family and we just want to give her the best life we can.
