Japanese Hospitality - November Program of Events -
We are once again hosting more events that highlight the unique aspects of Japan to enable travelers from overseas to experience our culture and encourage them to visit us again.
In November, the Daimyo Procession, Make a self-righting doll. Please refer to the attachment for more details.
Make a self-righting doll
The self-righting doll always stands up no matter how
often it is pushed over and, therefore, symbolizes
tenacity and health.
Choose a design from a beckoning cat or a princess,
paste your favorite Japanese paper on the base, and
draw a face with a pen or ink pad, to create a self-
righting doll of your own design.
A Japanese lucky charm to take home! <image>
