Japanese Hospitality - November Program of Events - We are once again hosting more events that highlight the unique aspects of Japan to enable travelers from overseas to experience our culture and encourage them to visit us again. In November, the Daimyo Procession, Make a self-righting doll. Please refer to the attachment for more details. Make a self-righting doll The self-righting doll always stands up no matter how often it is pushed over and, therefore, symbolizes tenacity and health. Choose a design from a beckoning cat or a princess, paste your favorite Japanese paper on the base, and draw a face with a pen or ink pad, to create a self- righting doll of your own design. A recreation of the Daimyo processions of the Edo period with feudal lords carried in palanquin by bearers through the passenger terminals. Make a self-righting doll

The self-righting doll always stands up no matter how

often it is pushed over and, therefore, symbolizes

tenacity and health.

Choose a design from a beckoning cat or a princess,
