The Japan HACCP Training Center (JHTC) combines networking and academic knowledge both in Japan and abroad, and based on the idea of adult learning, the quality assurance system (FSM, QMS Etc.) are practicing training on development.

Established in 1999, the organization has a portfolio of diverse training services leading the Japanese food industry, providing training such as HACCP internationally accepted to customers in Japan.

In addition to food production, we also offer online seminars on retail / wholesale, farm, transportation, packaging, food safety services etc.

We are also shortening and improving efficiency of group learning using e-learning basic training. More than 80 HACCP coordinator training workshops were held between 2016 and 2017.

In 2016, we have also started PCQI course based on preventive control for human food(PCHF) regulations for FSMA.

HistoryYear History

1996 • Keiran-niku Joho Center issuing monthly magazine HACCP held the HACCP training seminar of Canadian GFTC (Guelph Food Technology Center) .

1998 • Train-the-Trainer / HACCP Course (HACCP Lead Instructor Training Course) certified by the International HACCP Alliance (IHA) at NFPA (currently GMA) in Washington DC, USA.

1999 • Japan HACCP Training Center (JHTC) was established on May 22. Nobumasa Tanaka Ph.D was appointed as the first representative director.

• We held a HACCP coordinator training workshop in Japan.

2000 • Held a HACCP Verification and Validation Workshop - Advanced HACCP Course .

2003 • Held a retail HACCP workshop.

2004 • Held a On-farmed HACCP workshop.

2007 • Hiroshi Urakami Ph.D (Professor, Niigata Pharmaceutical University) is appointed second representative director.

2008 • Public invitation to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) supplementary business "Food industry HACCP promotion promotion project" and receive adoption as implementation organization.

• Established HACCP consulting firm (matching support).• We held an executive workshop.

2011 • held a live seminar Safer Food Better Business (SFBB) for small facilities by internet line distribution.

2013 • Developed a smartphone application that allows field personnel to easily learn SFBB.

2015 • Supported the launch of "Food x Agriculture MOOC (massive Open On-line Course) " portal website of Net Live Seminar.

• Developed a video seminar for free viewing.• Developed efficiency and shortening of group learning using e-

learning basic training.

2016 • FSPCA 's PCQI course was held in Japan based on the US Food Safety Modernization Act 'Preventive Control for Human Food‘ regulation.

2017 • FSPCA's lead instructor course "Train-the-Traner PCQI Course" was held in Japan.

HACCP coordinator training workshop in Japan

JHTC's HACCP training workshop is an official course accredited by the International HACCP Alliance.

It is accepted internationally. We have received many certifications in Japan as well.©Japan HACCP Training Center

Introduction of e-learning basic learning greatly reduces cost and schedule of collective learning

It became easy to receive basic learning at a vacant time with personal computers and smartphones.

Only those who completed basic learning can receive group learning, so the competence of the students has been able to bottom up.

In collective learning, effective skill improvement is aimed by role playing based on adult learning.

It is an "on-demand course delivery system" that can hold web seminars by relaying online with instructors from around the country.

The lecturer delivers lectures to the venues of everyone through the Internet.
