Middle School Students Shop for Angel Tree Gifts

On Sunday, November 30, more than 20 middle school youth arrived at Target to shop for a couple families for the Angel Tree, buying presents with money donated from the Crossroads Sunday School Class. They had a great time working to make other people’s Christmas a little brighter!

Middle School Christmas Party On Sunday, December 14, the middle school youth had their annual Christmas Party and food gift exchange. There were funny gifts and tasty gifts, but everyone also brought extra food to give to the food bank for those who do not have enough to eat. Thank you to everyone who participated and help feed those in need!

High School Progressive Dinner

On Sunday, December 14, the high school youth had their annual progressive dinner, eating appetizers at Caroline Bowen’s home, the main course at Tanner Boylan’s home, and dessert at Rebecca and Caroline Alba’s home. Thank you to each of these families for opening their homes to us and allowing us to come over for a part of a meal! All of it was delicious!

High School Cookie Making

High Schooler, Gracie Bartel, thought it would be a wonderful service project for HS Youth Fellowship to bake cookies, package them and deliver with note cards to our Room in the Inn neighbors! Gracie shopped for the cookie ingredients, and under her direction, the high schoolers baked, cut out and decorated sugar cookies. The high schoolers also made no bake chocolate cookies. They all visited with our neighbors and then enjoyed eating some of the cookies and having a whipped cream extravaganza! Ho! Ho! Ho!
