Oh Merciful father, in this new year, we are reminded again of the grace, mercy and love you have shown us by sending your one and only son. He has redeemed the world of sin and calls us to serve your will, and in this, we are all part of the body of Christ. Therefore, in this new season, let us all be empty vessels that will be filled with your spirit and reborn into the life you have chosen for us, serving and glorifying You. In Your son Jesus’ name we pray.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship withone another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” – 1 John 1:7
