Happy New Year! I love the beginning of a new

year! It’s fresh. It’s new. After suffering through a

terribly difficult 2020, I think we all could use a fresh

start.

Beginning on January 3, we are going to be in a

yearlong study in the Gospel of John. I’m calling it:

GENUINE JESUS! Imagine yourself living in the 1st

century Bible times. God has been silent for 400

years. There was no further talk or discussion of the

Messiah who was to be sent as the Savior of the

World. And then it happens. The Messiah is born

and celebrated by some shepherds and Magi. Just

like God said it would happen. Jesus is the real deal

with it comes to God’s plan for humanity and John

writes all about it! Jesus is God’s final answer in re-

sponse to a dark, cold, and cruel world; and Jesus

is still God’s solution for all that troubles humanity.

I am excited to study this Gospel with you and I

hope you are too. To get the most out of our study

together, it will important to give your sincere effort

to study along with us each week. Remember, the

sermons will be available on our website:

www.burnsidechristian.org.

Words can not express how

grateful & humbled I am. Thank

you church family for the cards,

food, and prayers for me now &

before my surgery. May I not

forget your generosity and when I reach my

normal way of life, I could return the

generosity. May God Bless you all real good.
