Due to the continued outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, WSS is suspending all in-person ECK events through March 31, 2021. ECKANKAR Member Events will continue via phone conference or Zoom videoconferencing.

New: Small chela events may be held in person, with specific health guidelines. Scheduled events are listed below.

Wisconsin Satsang Society in THE YEAR OF THANKSGIVING

Training: Wisdom from the Master on

Spiritual Leadership, Book 1

This training is a requirement for High Initiates who would like to move into an ECK cleric position and for clerics who would like to serve in the role of Initiator or ESA and have not yet taken the training.

The class is still open to High Initiates in good stand-ing with current ECK Membership.

In ECKANKAR we often build many friendships

with ECKists across Wisconsin – or even the world.

We may only see them at the major seminars or at

regional events. So sometimes we may not be aware

a fellow ECKist has translated, or passed on.

With family permission, we are sharing the names

of ECKists who have moved on to a new arena this

past year. In Memoriam offers an opportunity to re-

member and honor these Souls and all the love they

have given.

Satsang Intensives

TRUE CONTEMPLATION OF

THE ECK WORKS

The December 2020 issue of The Mystic World high-

lights an exciting new type of Satsang for chelas to ex-

plore a passage, quote, Q&A from the Master, or other

short piece that allows deep, personal exploration. The

Satsang intensive combines spiritual exercise and spiri-

tual discussion.

Having participated in a Satsang intensive, I can say that

it is a special event. Initially I wondered how our group

of 6 would spend an hour exploring a 1 ½ page excerpt

from an ECK book. But, it was amazing how deep one

can go and how the event fostered a truly sacred ex-

perience.

We will be rolling out this new event in Wisconsin. Stay

tuned and expect to enjoy and learn from participating
