Action Items Item #4: Linking Hampton Roads Chapter Four: Infrastructure Recommendations,

Candidate Project Additions, DRAFT, Steve Lambert, HRTPO The attached list of candidate projects were added to the Chapter Four: Infrastructure Recommendations based off comments from the 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan’s online survey that was live between March 28, 2019 to June 12, 2019. These candidate projects were approved by the LRTP Subcommittee. ATTACHMENT 4: Additional Candidate Projects RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: Approval of additions to the Chapter Four: Infrastructure projects. Item #5: Linking Hampton Roads, Chapter Five: Taking Action, DRAFT, Steve

Lambert, HRTPO Linking Hampton Roads, Chapter Five: Taking Action draft chapter was made available for subcommittee review and comments from December 23, 2019 through January 6, 2020. Comments were received and addressed. RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: Approval of draft chapter with edits. Item #6: Linking Hampton Roads, Full Draft Document, Steve Lambert, HRTPO Linking Hampton Roads, Full Draft Document, was made available for subcommittee review and comments from January 10, 2020 to January 24, 2020. Comments were received and addressed. RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: Recommend TTAC approval of the draft Linking Hampton Roads report.

SUMMARY MINUTES ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING

OCTOBER 25, 2019 CAPE CHARLES CIVIC CENTER, 500 TAZEWELL AVE, CAPE CHARLES, VA 23310

WELCOME 1.Steve Lambert, called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM.

PUBLIC COMMENTS 2.No public comments.

APRIL 26, 2019 MEETING MINUTES 3.A motion was made by Tom Howard and a second by Carl Jackson. The motion was passed by the subcommittee.

APPROVAL – AUGUST AGENDA ITEMS 4,5,6 4.Steve Lambert discussed the items from the August ATS meeting. These items were not approved during the August meeting due to not having a quorum. Agenda Item #4 was approved noting that the Linking Hampton Roads plan would be updated accordingly once locality’s plans are updated. A motion was made by Carl Jackson and a second by Paul Filion. The motion was passed by the subcommittee.

APPROVAL – APPLICATION OF REGIONAL CLASSIFICATION MATRIX 5.FILTER – STEVE LAMBERT A motion was made to approve the Regional Classification Matrix Filter by Tom Howard and a second by Carl Jackson. The motion was passed by the subcommittee.

UPDATE – LINKING HAMPTON ROADS – STEVE LAMBERT 6.Steve Lambert updated the subcommittee on the schedule for the final draft of the Linking Hampton Roads plan.

APPROVAL – THE CURRENT STATUS OF THE BIRTHPLACE OF AMERICA 7.TRAIL A motion was made by Paul Filion and a second by Carl Jackson. The motion was passed by the subcommittee.
