Ltd., in i t s l e t t e r dated the 4th of Janmry, 1952, subject t o negotiation of the terms and conditions under which the said pipe l i n e mey be constructed on road allowances under Municipal jur isdict ion when the locat ion of the proposed pipe l i n e has f ina l ly been decided upon.

Further discussion followed, during which the Reeve pointed out t h a t it was not the intent ion of the Council t o hold up the project which would be f o r the ult imate benefit of the Lower Mainland Area, but t h a t the Council wished t o be assured tha t i t s i n t e r e s t s would be protected and t h a t future development of u t i l i t i e s , road grades, etc., would not be interfered with by the location of the pipe l ine.

Several other members of t he Council spoke i n support of t he Reeve's remarks. M r . Riley then withdrew from the meeting.

A delegation, representing Grandview Heights Water Committee, came before the Council and Anquired as t o action which the Council had taken i n connection with the submission of a By-law t o the Electors of the proposed area t o authorize construction of a waterworks supply system.
