SCRIP PROFIT REPORT: Bishop Ryan Catholic School
earned $18,946.33 in Scrip re-
bates from October thru December.
Out of that total, $8525.81 was
credited toward family tuitions; the
remainder is the school's. The total
amount earned is $1339.75 higher
than the same quarter last
year. Thank you to those who pur-
chase Scrip regularly. We encour-
age everyone to use Scrip gift cards
for all your purchases of groceries,
gas, household items, dining out,
remodeling or building, or as gifts.
Using Scrip helps lower tuition
amounts and supports Bishop
Ryan at the same time. The Scrip
Program is such an easy fundrais-
er! You're shopping anyway for gro-
ceries, filling gas, eating out, buying
household supplies, and the list
goes on - why not use Scrip? By
using Scrip, you earn more in re-
bates than on most credit cards,
and you're not at risk for credit card
fraud. For those of you who don’t
know what Scrip is, Scrip is gift
cards that you use to pay for your
purchases, (same as cash). Scrip
gift cards are sold in the Bishop
Ryan administration office, at Little
Flower, Our Lady of Grace, & St.
John's Parish offices and after the
weekend Masses at all four parish-
es.
THE WILD GOOSE The Wild Goose: Discovering a Deeper Relationship with the Holy
Spirit is a 14-part series with Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR. It will begin
Tuesday, January 22 after mass about 7:45 pm for 1 hour at Our La-
dy of Grace Church. It will be held in St. Gianna’s Room located at
the North end of the dining room. All are welcome to attend. If ques-
tions, please contact Bev Cushing at 701-839-6635. You can watch
a trailer or segments at www.thewildgooseisloose.com.

IT’S TIME TO START
THINKING PRESCHOOL! Registration for Little Lions Pre-
school and Kindergarten Read-
iness Classes is now open for
the 2019-2020 school year,
and we’d like to invite any par-
ish families with preschool chil-
dren to become part of the lion
family. If you have a preschool
student who is bathroom-
trained and will be three years
old by July 31st, 2019, we’d
love to tell you about the great
things going on at Little Lions,
including lots of learning, mu-
sic, physical education class,
library time, faith, friends and
fun. For more information,
please call Jaimie Brunner at
(701) 838-3355 or email
[email protected]. Spots are
limited and classes are filled
on a first-come, first-served ba-
sis, so don’t miss out!
REMEMBER TO USE
SCRIP: Use Scrip gift cards to pay for
your purchases or to give as
gifts. There’s a large selection of
local businesses who participate
in the Scrip program, along with
many nationwide. (There’s a na-
tional list on our website
www.bishopryan.com) Support
these business with your shop-
ping & paying with gift cards and
they in turn, support Bishop
Ryan & families with the rebates
earned off of the cards. Using
gift cards instead of credit cards
protects you from credit card
fraud. Scrip doesn’t cost any ex-
tra money, you get to spend the
dollar amount you pay for. Using
Scrip helps children receive a
Catholic education. Scrip gift
cards are available at Bishop
Ryan, after the weekend Masses
& in the parish office during the
week.

STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT In today’s second reading, St. Paul tells the Co-
rinthians (and us) that all of our gifts are from
God and that they are given, not for ourselves
alone, but for the common good. But the gener-
osity of God knows no limits – the miracle at
Cana reminds us that whenever we faithfully do
as God asks, He can change our gifts of water
into wine!
Stewardship Thought: Give of your time, tal-
ent, and treasure until your heart knows that
you have done something for God
VOCATION VIEWS: God’s Spirit is given to each person for the com-
mon good. What are your gifts? Are you willing
to share them for the good of others? (1 Corin-
thians 12:4-11)
WORD OF LIFE For all women with difficult pregnancies:
Through the intercession of Our Lady, may they
be lovingly supported in welcoming the mystery
of life within them; We pray to the Lord:
“We are created to walk with and support one
another; we don't need to fear reaching out in
love. Help your friend experience the strength of
God's message that resounds throughout time:
‘Do not fear: I am with you’ (Isaiah 41:10).”
MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER WEEKENDS A Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend is a

ly recommended. For more information, visit
