From the BBA Prayer Ministry Team Leader
Normally we close our prayers with, “In Jesus Name, Amen.” Hallock in his book “Always in Prayer,” says “It is out of this union with Christ that I enter into the experience of prayer in his name. To pray in the name of Jesus is to be so attached to him, so united to him that his thoughts become my thoughts; his desires become my desires; his life becomes my life; his nature becomes my nature; his prayers are my prayers and my prayers are his prayers. To pray in his name is one of the most sacred works that I can do. Andrew Murray in his book With Christ in the School of Prayers, said, ‘When His name is everything to me, it will obtain everything for me. If I let it have all I have, it will let me have all it has.’” May our resolution, our purposes be planted firmly upon the rock of Jesus Christ determined to have worthy prayer lives in the name of Jesus. May we be Holy Spirit filled with determination to carry through in a prayer life that honors our Lord. Pray for our association and our churches as we enter the new year.
In His Grip, Bro. Anthony

January 2015 Bryan Baptist Association is so extremely blessed to have the honor of sending two of our own into full time missionary work with the International Mission Board. Colby and Whitni Corsaut have accepted the call to this life altering field. Colby has been the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) Director for the past three years and was the assistant Director for about seven years before that. Whitni is an R.N. at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma’s Women’s Center. They are the parents of two precious young boys, Malachi and Deacon.
There will be a Commissioning Service for them on January 11th at First Baptist Church of Durant at 6:00 p.m. It will be an evening of worship and prayer as well as a challenge to the churches to continue to be on mission with the Lord. This is what Colby and Whitni are asking of us; To fast and pray from Saturday night until after the service when we will come together for a fellowship meal. This fasting and praying is for the Lord to be exalted in His global work and particularly the work in France where they are being sent. Their hope is that churches will consider this instead of their regular Sunday night service. They really feel like they are being sent out by the churches of Bryan Baptist Association and would love to have your support.
Thank you, Tim

Thank you to family and friends who helped with my shoe box project. That includes those who saved empty shoe boxes; gave items to pack in boxes; contributed financially; encouraged me; advertised the project; and came to my house to help fill boxes. Now let's pray that millions of children will get involved in Bible Studies, hear the Gospel, receive New Testaments in their languages, and be saved! Thank you very much. All together we sent 225 boxes around the world. Only because of your help! Dolores White Kiser

Many paid their shipping online this
year so they could track what
country their box went to. Some wrote notes to the children
adding their addresses. Please report any good news to me
so I can share it with everyone.
Thank you so much to each and every one that
participated in any way. Please continue to pray for the
children that will receive these boxes of hope in Christ!

I would like everyone to know just how much each and everyone of you have meant to me over the past nine years. This ministry has been a very important part of my life and I will miss being a part of it. I will always treasure the many friends I have made and
seeing how this ministry has grown.
LTBRM has been such a blessing to me and filled a void in my life after Lee Roy passed away. I have no
doubt at all that the Lord knew exactly where I needed to be before taking Lee Roy home to be with
him. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.
Thank You so much for the wonderful years I have spent here. Please continue your wonderful support of this ministry. Be sure and book your mission trip
for this summer. God has great things planned for LTBRM
God Bless, Barbara
