This would be a good place to insert a short paragraph about your organization. It might include the purpose of the organization, its mission, founding date, and a brief history. You could also include a brief list of the types of products, services, or programs your or-ganization offers, the geographic area covered (for example, western U.S. or European markets), and a profile of the types of customers or members served.

It would also be useful to include a contact name for readers who want more information about the organization.

AQC Returns to Canada

58th Annual Quality Congress

Get out your compass and proceed due north because the American Society for Quality's 58th Annual Quality Congress heads to To-ronto for its first return to Canada in 15 years. From now until the congress, the official conference Web site will be your primary news center for “anything AQC.” Con-tinuous updates about this year's program—such as session and course descriptions, keynote speakers, events, special feature updates, and much more - will give you plenty of reasons to make the trip. ASQ redesigned the official AQC Web site to help you search eas-ily for topics that are relevant to you and your organization's specific challenges and goals. ASQ prides it-self on offering an out-standing educational program at every con-gress, so this year we've updated our online search capabili-ties to allow you to preview sessions by

date, track, or speaker. Nearly 100 sessions are featured including topic categories such as auditing, break-through improvement, leadership, standards (including ISO 9000 revisions), and Six Sigma, to name a few. The site will also help you find current infor-mation on many other outstanding 58th AQC features such as spe-cific industry tracks (auditing, manage-ment, international), certification exams, pre- and post-conference courses, exhibitor links, net-working opportunities, conference tours, things to do in and around Toronto, and much more, in the months leading up to May. Plan now to learn, ex-change, and share chal-lenges, goals, and ex-traordinary business practices with quality professionals from more than 50 countries who have experienced and advanced individ-ual and organizational

performance excel-lence worldwide. It’s not too early to mark your calendar for May 24-26, 2004! As a reminder to U.S. citizens, for ease in en-tering and departing Canada entry and de-parture, a current pass-port is strongly recom-mended. A certified birth certificate accom-panied by a picture ID will also meet Cana-dian entry and depar-ture requirements. For more information on the conference, visit http://aqc.asq.org/index.html.
