HIRING GUIDELINES FOR TEACHER I POSITIONS, RECRUITMENT EVALUATION AND SELECTION PROCEDURES

To: All EPs/Division Coordinators; PSDSlDistrict In-Charge; and Heads and Teachers of Public Elem. & Sec. Schools

1) As stipulated in par. 2 of the Regional Memorandum No. 41, s.2013, the recruitment evaluation and selection procedures of the 2 d half of the Division Allocation of New Teacher I Positions for SY 2013-2014 shall start as early as January 2013 in order to have a new Registry of Qualified Applicants (RQA) and must be completed by the end of March 2013.

2) DepEd Order No. 12, s. 2012 shall be the basis of screening, hiring and recruitment evaluation as well as the selection procedures for Teacher I Position, SY 2013-2014. Enclosed herewith is a copy of DepEd Order No. 12 for the information and guidance of all concerned.

3) Below is the timeline of the specific activities to be undertaken with the corresponding dates:, viz.: A. School Selection Committee - 1. Receives application & verifies documents Jan. 21- Feb. 11, 2013

2. Submits list of applicants with the documents Feb. 12-15, 2013 To the Div. Sub-Committee

B. Division Sub-Committee -

C. Division Selection Committee - 1. Reviews and consolidates results of the individual ratings of

applicants an prepares a division wide rank list by district March 21-27, 2013 2. Prepares RQA of qualified applicants who obtained total

scores of fifty (50) points and above categorized as Registries April 1-10, 2013 A, B, C, and D

3. Submits complete results of the evaluation of applicants including pertinent records of deliberations to the SDS for April 11-19, 2013 approval

/ 4) Attention is invited to item 4.1. of DepEd Order No. 12, s. 2012 regarding submission of

required application documents and pertinent supporting papers.

5) School District Supervisors/District In-Charge and Principals of elementary and secondary schools are hereby directed to submit names of school administrators to compose the School Selection Committee and the Division Sub-committee as prescribed in par. 5.1 to 5.2. of DepEd Order No. 12, s. 2012 for the issuance of Designations by the Office of SDS.

6) In view hereof, there will be a conference on February 11, 2013 to be held at the Division Conference Hall from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Participants are the District Supervisor, DICs, and Heads of Schools both the Elementary and Secondary.

7) Expenses incurred such travelling and other incidental expenses made during attendance of the aforesaid conference shall be charged against local MOOE subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

8) Posting of this memorandum in all conspicuous places in the school district is hereby encouraged.

9) Immediate and widest dissemination of the content of this memo is highly enjoined.
