PRAYER for the SOULS of PURGATORY One of the greatest acts of charity we can do is prayer for those souls who have passed before us. Through our prayers, we can help the faithful departed during their time in Purgatory, so that they can enter more quickly into the fullness of Heaven. If you are offering the prayer for a particular person, you can substitute "him" or "her" for "them." Lets pray daily for all the souls of purgatory:
PRAYER for ETERNAL REST Eternal rest grant unto all, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

CHURCH CLOSED, temporarily for CEILING REPAIRS REMINDER: the church is closed temporarily as the barrel vault ceiling is being repaired, resulting in daily Mass and weekend Masses being relocated to the Padre Pio chapel and HCA gym, respectively. Please note the following: - 7am daily Mass and the weekly 7pm Wednesday Mass, Rosary and Novenas will be at the Padre Pio Chapel, 619 Jefferson Street; - Weekend Masses are at the Hoboken Catholic Academy (HCA) gym located at 555 7th Street (corner of Monroe and 7th Streets) through Sunday, January 21st. - The Sacrament of Reconciliation, prior to 5pm Vigil Mass, Saturdays, 4:15pm to 4:45pm face to face, only. What are you looking for? Are you wasting your time looking for the material comforts of the world? Or, is your heart longing for something deeper that can only be found by spending time with God? Take time, each day, in silence and ask the Lord what it is that He wants you to do.
Prayer: God, please give me the grace to find quiet and silence within the circumstances of my life so I can listen to You and know Your wants for me.

VOCATION PRAYER CHALICE Praying for vocations to the Priesthood and Religious life is both a responsibility and privilege of the laity. We at Saint Ann Church have begun a beautiful ministry of prayer for vocations using the Vocation Prayer Chalice. Each Sunday at the end of a Mass, a family or individual will be presented the Vocation Prayer Chalice, a candle, and a booklet with prayers for each day of the week. In taking the Prayer Chalice, they commit themselves to pray each day during that week on behalf of our parish for vocations. There is no doubt that the Holy Spirit is calling forth men and women (boys and girls) from this very parish community to these courageous and beautiful roles of service in the Church. May our prayers help inspire them to be attentive to the movement of the Holy Spirit within them and to step forward in faith and with generous hearts to wherever the Spirit leads them! Consider being part of this wonderful opportunity of prayer... Please pray on it! ACCELERATED CONFIRMATION CLASSES for ADULTS The Accelerated Adult Confirmation Classes are for adults who are baptized Catholic, received First Communion, catechized and are now seeking to complete their Sacraments of Initiation. There are three (3) Sacraments of Initiation, Baptism, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation. Have you received your three (3) Sacraments of Initiation? If you are an adult who is Baptized and have received your Holy Communion but have not been confirmed, then you are a candidate for Adult Confirmation classes. Why be confirmed? Confirmation brings the process of Christian Initiation to completion, to be fully initiated in the Catholic faith. What do we do? We meet as a small-group, focusing on the connection of the practice of our Catholic faith to our experiences in our everyday lives. We will look at how your image of God affects our relationship with Him. We use various resources including the US Catholic Catechism for Adults, ‘Catholicism Video Series Program’ and The New American Bible, Revised Edition. It is an opportunity to see our faith, as adults for the first time with an adult understanding. The class meets for 10 continuous Tuesdays:

MORNING of HEALING FOR PERINATAL LOSS
THE OFFICES OF FAMILY & RESPECT LIFE The morning of healing is for those who have suffered the los of a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. We invite all parents, siblings, grandparents and others who are affected by the loss of a baby. ALL are WELCOME to attend regardless of whether the loss was recent/long ago. FAMILY ROSARY ACROSS AMERICA Beginning Monday, January 15th, Relevant Radio will present the Family Rosary Across America This will be the first LIVE and interactive radio program to bring the entire country together at the same time to pray the rosary.
