In addition, as from July 2013, the European Regulation on construction products (CPR), on whose basis sustainable build-ings are found, entered into force. With its window, door and facade profiles made from steel and stain-less steel, Jansen ensures the sustainable design, installation and, in particular, the sustainable use of buildings. As the manufacturer of complete steel profile systems, Jansen makes available to the processor industry-specific environmental product declarations in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804 for windows, doors and facades. The EPDs can be obtained quickly and easily from the testing institute ift Rosenheim.

Of all the materials used in construction, steel has the highest modulus of elasticity and is very resistant to mechanical damage.
