Welcome to our first ‘Whats on Guide’ of 2013 Its been a wonderful 2012 with Chequer Mead hosting some fantasticshows and reaching the milestone of welcoming our one millionth visitor.

This is a fantastic achievement for a community venue such as ours and cementsour place within the heart of East Grinstead and the surrounding areas. Plans arein place to ensure Chequer Mead is ready to welcome the next million visitors. One of these is the refurbishment of our theatre, which after 16 years of use by all ages is now showing signs of wear. A huge fundraising effort is underway by all here at the centre including a brand new sponsor a seat campaign, where for £113, you could name and refurbish a seat within our 320 seat theatre. We will acknowledge your support with a brass plaque with your name/business or group, which will be attached to one of the seats in the auditorium. You alsowill be listed on a plaque on the entrance to the theatre and on our website as a seat sponsor (unless you wish to remain anonymous).

All seat sponsors will be entered into a quarterly draw to win 2 tickets to a Chequer Mead production as well. (One entry per seat).

So take your time to look through the brochure and book your tickets to one of the brilliant shows we have coming up. We look forward to welcoming you to this great centre for the arts.
