The group’s musical director is Malcolm Knowles, a St John’s College Cambridge choral scholar, who studied singing in both the UK and Austria and has performed internationally as a tenor soloist in choral music and opera.www.cantamus-dorset.org

Sandford orcas 24 MarchCranborne 25 MarchWinfrith 26 MarchPiPeLiNe theatre‘Spillikin’It’s the ‘70s. Sally likes Debbie Harry, Raymond likes making robots; they’re an unlikely pair. Flash forward to 2030 and after a long, childless and sometimes bumpy marriage, Sally has Alzheimers. Before Raymond died he built a robot uploaded with his memories to keep her company. It’s the ultimate love letter from beyond the grave: an endlessly patient memory-jogger giving order to her confusion in the oddest of romances. But as Sally’s mind fades, will the robot be more of a comfort or a threat? Prepare to laugh, cry, ponder questions of love, death, and technology and have your heart broken by this acclaimed show, which features a state-of-the-art robot. After the show there will be a Q&A session with the cast and robot! Suitable 12+“a perfectly constructed and superbly acted play”briTiSh TheaTre guiDeww.pipelinetheatre.com

Dorset’s charity bringing high quality performances of live theatre, music, dance and family shows to

the heart of the community

“I joined Artsreach in 2012 after four years working at The Exchange in Sturminster Newton. For me the beauty of rural touring lies in the transformation that takes place within our communities. So many people give

their time to make just a moment of magic happen, and everybody does so with a passion and belief in

bringing quality arts to their venue. It’s a fulfilling and exciting environment to work in, and we have a really

varied spring season ahead which reflects this. My top tip; be sure to catch the brilliant Dave Mynne in

‘The Odyssey: Greek Stuff!’ this spring!”Kerry Bartlett, co-Director

“I have worked for Artsreach for 20 years, initially as a freelance co-ordinator for visual arts projects, then as part of the team leading on our visual arts programme, the children’s programme, and any other exciting opportunities that come our way! I love working for Artsreach; I liken it to a hand knitted jumper created from an excellent pattern, put together with care and love to create a warm, individual and highest quality garment. Keep supporting us and enjoy our exciting spring programme. ”yvonne Gallimore, co-Director

“Artsreach is a brilliant organisation bringing a very wide range of theatre to rural Dorset. It enriches our lives enormously. Dorset would be much the poorer without

these fantastic opportunities being brought to our accessible village venues” Audience MeMber, Told by An idioT, noveMber 2016

“We came away feeling very privileged to have seen and heard such a superb performance. There are not enough superlatives for such a show. A big thankyou to Dorset Artsreach for making these productions possible.”Audience MeMber, John eTheridge & viMAlA rowe, deceMber 2016

We love to hear from our audiences...
