Sir Lancelot (or Launcelot) was one of the Knights of the Round Table in the Arthurian legend. He was the most trusted of King Arthur’s knights and played a part in many of Arthur's victories. Lancelot is best known for his love affair with Arthur's wife Guinevere and the role he played in the search for the Holy Grail.
