In short, everything in Group-Wise will be moved to the new system. To make this process as effi-cient as possible, it is very im-portant that the mail accounts and archives are cleaned up so that we are not moving unnec-essary data to the new system. So, beginning today, Monday December 5th, please feel free to begin deleting any unneces-sary mail from both your live accounts and your archives. This process must be com-pleted no later than Monday January 9th. There will be addi-tional information forthcom-ing regarding how and when the archives will be moved to the network for the migra-tion. If you have any questions
If you are not already aware, we will be moving our CFMC corporate e-mail system from GroupWise to Microsoft Out-look. This only effects the CFMC corporate e-mail system. The QualityNet e-mail system will remain on-line. We plan to perform this migra-tion the week of January 9th, 2012. As part of this process each individual user will be responsible for cleaning up their e-mail account and their archived mail. The planned migration process will move all existing mail from current GroupWise e-mail ac-counts and archives to the new Outlook/Exchange accounts, along with all calendar entries, contacts etc.

or believe that you will need assistance, please contact the Help Desk via the Help Desk System as soon as possible. There will be a small amount of down time with this process. We plan on taking the CFMC GroupWise mail system off-line on Thursday afternoon, January 12th at 1:00 p.m. to begin the process that will move the GroupWise data to the new Microsoft Exchange accounts. The migration programs will run through the night on Janu-ary 12th as it will take several hours for the GroupWise data to be moved to the new Ex-change/Outlook accounts.

Carefully pick through peas to remove
any debris or small stones and rinse well.
Transfer to a large bowl, cover by 3
inches with water, cover and set aside at
room temperature for 8 hours or over-
night; drain and rinse well.
Heat oil over medium heat in a large pot.
Add onion, garlic, ham and celery and
cook until onion is translucent, 5 to 8
minutes. Add peas and broth, bring to a
boil and skim off and discard any foam on
the surface. Reduce heat and simmer,
partially covered, until peas are tender,
about 45 minutes. Add collard greens and
carrots and simmer until tender, 15 to 20
minutes more. Season with salt, pepper
and cayenne and serve.

Tuesday January 17th. For new incoming mail, it may take as little as 1 hour and as long as 48 hours to begin flowing into the new Ex-change mail accounts, however no mail will be lost. In summary, the items that end users need to be concerned with are the following:
Friday: 1/06/12 - Completion of GroupWise Mail Archive move to network
Thursday: 1/12/12 - GroupWise system will be taken off-line at 1:00 p.m. and migration begins
Friday 1/13/12 – MS Outlook brought on-line
We will make the new accounts available to users once the migra-tion process from GroupWise to Exchange has completed and has been verified. Everything could be up and running by sometime on Friday January 13th but the process may take a little longer. Worst case, the new mail system will be avail-able no later than start of business
then stir them back into the broth before
adding the collard greens and carrots.

We are shaking off the holiday blues by hosting a post-holiday “Blue Day” Wednesday, January 25th. The HR Dept would like to invite you to en-joy treats throughout the day, games and prizes. All of which are sur-rounded by the color “blue”. Throughout the day we will let you know where our next activity will be and how you can enjoy some of the treats we have in store. Please dress in your favorite “blue” clothes. Along with “Blue Day”, we would also like to throw in some healthy
items to keep you going and strong for the 2012 year. So don’t get down in the dumps, fight back with the “blue” days and maybe a little sunshine will come your way… For breakfast we plan on having blueberry
muffins and blueberry yogurt. Lunch we
will have a nice healthy salad bar to get
you energized and lastly, we will have blue
smoothies in the afternoon for a last min-
ute pick me up before the day is over.

For many people, January 1st offers an
opportunity to forget the past and make
a clean start. But instead of leaving eve-
rything up to fate, why not enjoy a meal
to increase your good fortune? There are
a variety of foods that are believed to be
lucky and to improve the odds that this
year will be a great one. Traditions vary
from culture to culture, but there are
striking similarities in what's consumed
in different pockets of the world.
GRAPES New Year's revelers in Spain
consume twelve grapes at midnight—one
grape for each stroke of the clock. Each
grape represents a different month, so if
for instance the third grape is a bit sour,
March might be a rocky month. For most,
the goal is to swallow all the grapes be-
fore the last stroke of midnight, but Peru-
vians insist on taking in a 13th grape for
good measure.

We’d like to know where our CFMC staff
members are traveling to on their time off,
their weekends, and on their holidays. Only
sometimes in passing, are we able to briefly
hear what adventures our fellow colleagues
have been partaking in away from work. This
section of the newsletter can serve as a fun
way to share your recent travels and learn
about others’ fun getaways. We want to hear
about it and see some photos!
And that’s not all...we want you to take Miss
Maroon Bells all around the world with you!
See Scott to pick up the cardboard cut out of
this lovely lady before you embark on your
travels. She travels well and requires little,
apart from a glass of red wine occasionally
and a slice of her favorite, rhubarb pie.
Help us start a tradition amongst CFMC
employees and learn more about each other
along the way!
***Please bring a print of your photo into the
office as well as submitting the file to Scott. We
plan to display them on a wall! Stay tuned!

“The Nutcracker" is the most fa-

“Jingle Bells" was first written for
Thanksgiving and then became one of the most popular Christ-mas songs. If you received all of the gifts in
the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas," you would receive 364 gifts. In 1843, "A Christmas Carol" was
written by Charles Dickens in just six weeks. Black Friday is not the busiest
shopping day of the year. Al-though it varies, it usually lands sometime in December. More Diamonds are sold around
Christmas than any other time of the year. In Mexico, wearing red underwear
