As we end our Summer Series I hope you had a chance to participate in one of the three Happy Hours. It was great fun with lots of old friends and many new faces. A special thanks to the Space City Slopers who joined us for the last Happy Hour. I look forward to the beginning of a great collaboration.
We made a special effort to support our black owned businesses. What an incredible accomplishment tor each owner. You should check out ‘Scrappy Brown’s', ‘Davis St. at Hermann Park’ and 'Holley’s’. All great venues and great food. But the fun does not end with summer. We are making plans for a special
fall event that you will surely enjoy. So stay tuned. Now is the time to make plans for the ski season. We are collaborating with the Texas Ski Rangers on the French Alps trip and have received a tremendous response. We have over forty-five participants and a waiting list. So if you are interested, check out the website and sign up today. A $200 deposit is required to get on the waitlist. Only double occupancy is available for the waitlist. This trip is for the diehard skiers, the ‘I want to learn’ skiers, and the ‘I just want to hang out and experience the Alps’ travelers. Check out this all inclusive package and don’t delay making your decision to join us. We have a few spots available on our signature NBS Summit to Keystone Colorado. This is the most cost effective trip I have seen in a long time. We have a group rate with Southwest Airlines for a roundtrip ticket price of $158.
Now don’t forget with Southwest Airlines, bags fly free. So don’t be fooled when it comes to pricing. We have reserved a limited amount of seats. So this price will be honored on a first come first serve basis. That means you have to put down your deposit to secure your airline ticket.
Don’t forget about our Jr. Jammers. This year the youth trip will also be going to Keystone during Spring Break. The TSC Youth Foundation will once again be providing funding to our youth. I am pleased to announce that the Foundation has extended the age limit for reimbursement for youth up to and including 18 years of age. If you are interested, we will connect you with another TSC club.
Finally we are going to venture out and travel to Iceland with the option to spend a few days in New York City in route. We look forward to having you join us. Plans are finalized for our signature ski event in Keystone, CO. The Ski Jammers represented last year and planning to take 50 registered Jammers in 2017.
Many of our members took advantage of the $190 registration incentive for Keystone. This was an exclusive offer for those who participated in the Black Summit/AMCC 2016 in Heavenly/Lake Tahoe, CA. Thank you for your continued support.
Early Registration is now opened. We have confirmed our lodging and details are published on the trip application. The trip application is ready for you to complete.
All of the discounted information will be provided to registrants only. For example, discounted ski lessons, equipment rental, ground transportation, car rentals, retail discounts, etc. No sharing of information with renegades. You deserve to get your benefits for supporting the organization.
