Exploring the world by bicycle has always been one of my favorite hobbies. I love the sense of speed, freedom, and camaraderie experienced while riding. I’m always amazed by what I encounter on a bike that I would have missed in a car. Though I’ve ridden in locales around the world, most of my exploration takes place at home. During my nine years in Houston I’ve discovered a house made of beer cans, great new restaurants, and natural beauty in a city mainly known for concrete. The network of bike lanes in Houston even let me stitch “MIT” across the city, as seen on the GPS map below. As much as I’ve enjoyed riding around Houston, I’m hoping I’ll get the opportunity to explore Cambridge soon.
