We operate out of a small studio nestled in the high desert

of Bend, Oregon, where our mission is to help you create

and celebrate your stories, your laughter, and your tears.

Each piece of our jewelry is hand stamped, hand cut,

and hand forged. We only use 14k gold fill, fine sterling

silver, and semi-precious gemstones to create our classically

organic pieces. Using the very best materials allows us to

create jewelry that will undoubtedly become a favorite and

cherished accessory.

JAMES MICHELLE JEWELRY was founded in Bend, Oregon, the home of its creator, Jamie Israel, also known to her friends as James. Mother, sister, amazing friend; there are many things that describe James; jewelry designer was not one that anyone had expected. However, as we’ve already determined, life’s twists and turns have a funny way of leading us to paths we had never thought of taking. A new mother to her amazing son, James started feeling that something just wasn’t right, and it wasn’t just an aversion to dirty diapers! Soon it was doctors appointments and stab-in-the-dark diagnosis and the feeling that the mystery illness would never be solved. After being poked and prodded until she felt like a pin cushion an answer was finally found, the mystery illness now had a name, Lyme Disease.

Unfortunately, naming the disease didn’t make it go away, and as with many things, sometimes it has to get worse before it gets better. There were wheelchairs, picc lines to deliver antibiotics into the ultimate pumping system, the heart, a broken marriage, and the loss of parents. But through it all, James knew she had to do something that would define her beyond her illness, that would make her memorable for all the right reasons, while allowing her to support herself and her son. So lying in bed one day, watching the antibiotics flow through the IV, she made a necklace from her bedside and posted it online in hopes she could make some money to buy some advil. Little did she know that the seed had just been planted that would eventually grow into James Michelle Jewelry.

That first necklace turned into a second. Silver discs were tossed aside as, ever the perfectionist, she honed her craft. Soon James was branching beyond her initial design, reveling in the feeling of growing a business that she created, literally, with her own two hands. Necklaces were joined by rings, then earrings and bracelets. Finding inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Central Oregon and her love of the ocean, James Michelle Jewelry again expanded, adding to its core line of hand-stamped jewelry earthy, organic pieces with wistful and minimalist detail, providing that perfect touch, ensuring that they are a favorite accessory, and forever bringing smiles to the people they adorn. Through her jewelry she began healing. So yes, the twists and turns take us on amazing

journeys. Some paths are harder than others, but they have all come together to provide James with an appreciation for life, for people, and for her art. James Michelle Jewelry was born of love, tears, and a basic need for survival. It now represents all of those past struggles, plus hope for the future, stability, and excitement for what path may lie ahead. Lyme is still her constant companion, but she has succeeded it not allowing it to be what defines her. James loves hard, laughs hard, and says a small thanks to God every night for guiding her through those dark hours and leading her to the path of James Michelle Jewelry.

Jewelry Information

H A N D S TA M P E D - Every single piece of jewelry that leaves our studio is entirely handcrafted. No two items are ever the same. Because each letter and character is individually stamped by Jamie, there will be subtle variations making your piece its own custom creation.

1 4 K G O L D F I L L E D is considerably durable and considered a lifetime piece of jewelry. This is NOT gold plated or gold dipped vermeil jewelry which can chip off over time with wear. Gold filled metal is essentially a 14k gold tube filled with an inner core metal such as brass and has been mechanically bonded with high very hot heat. It will never chip or flake off such as gold plated metals. There is over 100 times more gold in 14k gold filled jewelry in comparison to a mere thin coat of paint in gold plated or vermeil jewelry.

S T E R L I N G S I L V E R jewelry is made with genuine silver.

G E M S T O N E S are natural entities; therefore no two pieces are exactly the same. We will match them to as close as we can.

R I N G S - The most common ring sizes are 6, 7, and 8.

Every piece of jewerly is available in both 14k gold fill and sterling silver with no difference in price. Any piece can be personalized with any name or word.

All personalized orders take 7-14 business days.

A Few Suggest ions*Buy a few extra chains just in case.  You never know when you will get a customer who wants extra necklaces.

S tore Policies

James Michelle Jewelry is handcrafted to order; therefore we do not accept Returns or Exchanges. If there is a problem with your purchase when you receive it, please contact us immediately.

MINIMUM FIRST TIME ORDER is $250. There are no mininum order requirements after the first purchase.

SHIPPING is $4.00 on most orders.  If you have a very large order it may go up to $6.00.  Express Shipping is available for $60, express means it will be shipped out next day.  If it is a very large order it might take 2 days.  Shipping time takes 2 days. We can direct ship to a customer for $5.

R E PA I R S - James Michelle Jewelry is not responsible for repairs. Please handle your jewelry with care. We guarantee our chains for up to 30 days. If a chain breaks you can return it for a new chain. If it is after 30 days from your ship date you can purchase a new chain or we can repair it for $24, customer is responsible for return shipping charges. If you replace a chain from your store please keep your broken chain for a credit.
