Right: Concept Drawing for proposed Fresco:. Christ in Majesty with Saints Peter and John Neumann for the Church of St Peter, Steubenville, Ohio. !is mural for location in the main apse behind the existing marble high altar is designed to integrate architectural with liturgical form . !e entire wall and two adjoining side choir walls are to be painted incorporating faux architectural elements including entablature with inscription from Matthew 16:18 Tu es Petrus, et super hanc petram aedi!cabo Ecclesiam meam et tibi dabo claves regni Caelorum. !e existing wood screen behind the main altar also includes existing sculpture made more prominent against the Venetian Red &eld. Baptismal records at St Peters Church in Steubenville Ohio show that St John Neumann lived there in 1841.
