Begin by parking on a smooth level surface with the emergency brake engaged. Jack up the front of the vehicle and position jack stands underneath both sides.

Refer to your vehicle’s owner’s manual for proper jack placement and supporting procedures.

Never get under a vehicle without the proper support in place.

7. Unclip the strap that holds the cold air inlets in place.

8. Now that everything is disconnected it’s time to remove the entire air box assembly. There are 3 pegs that

secure the air box to the vehicle. Below is the location of each of the grommets that the pegs fit in shown

after the air box has been removed. Locate the pegs and pull the air box straight up in each area to pop

the pegs out of their grommets and remove the entire assembly carefully.

Mounting Locations

9. Next, assemble the mounting bracket onto the catch can using the 2, ¼’-20 bolts and 2 lock nuts included

12. Using an 8mm socket remove the 3 bolts securing the sound symposer to the intake manifold and pull the

hose off the symposer.

15. With the sound symposer out of the way we need to remove the PCV hose connection at the manifold.

This can easily be done with both hands by reaching in behind the manifold from the driver’s side. Use

your right hand to squeeze both sides of the connector together. Use your pointer finger on your left

hand to push it off towards the rear of the car. The next 3 pictures illustrate how to grab the connector

and position yourself to get it off. It may take a few tries; be patient here.

19. The hoses can now be routed below the radiator hose and down towards the driver’s side frame rail where

the catch can is mounted. Secure the hoses to each other and to the radiator hose with the zip ties provided.

20. Connect the hose attached to the back of the intake manifold to the top port on the catch can. Secure it

using one of the hose clamps provided with your kit and a flat head screw driver. Connect the hose from

the PCV valve to the bottom port on the catch can using the other clamp.

21. Attached the drain hose to the catch can and valve to the hose. Direction of the valve does not matter.

Secure the hose to the catch can and to the valve using the 2 stainless hose clamps supplied with your kit.

You may choose to locate the valve anywhere you like on the hose and an extra clamp is included

with your kit should you prefer to cut it in and locate it in a location that’s more to your liking.

22. (OPTIONAL) Drill a hole large enough for the drain hose to fit through in the belly pan in the location

shown. Slip the drain hose through the hole in the belly pan and reinstall the belly pan.
