The Jaipur foot was developed in 1968.

Jaipur Foot is a rubber based prosthetic leg.

Designed in Jaipur, it is inexpensive, water-resistant, quick to

fit and manufacture.

Fitting about 20,000 artificial limbs and about 30,000 Polio

Calipers in a year.
