Welcome to the 2nd year of Natcher STLP’s Newspaper. Last year you may have known us as the ‘Blue & Orange Connection.’ This year we have a new look and a new name, ‘Jaguar Journal.’

“Dork diaries”: the 3rd

By: Ward D 6th grader Get ready for more! The third book of “Dork Diaries” is out! This book is a series in our scholastic book fair by Rachel Renee Russel. It features a young girl named Nikki and shows her struggles through daily life, which includes her overly excited little sister named Brianna, her wacky parents, her sensitive friends Chloe and Zoey, and of course, Mackenzie.

In the book, Nikki describes her as a “vicious monster in designer clothes and high heeled boots.” Mackenzie is the leader of the CCP clique (cute, cool, and popular). It’s as if she can’t go a day without insulting ONE person. Or two. Or three. Or four. Or fifty. Mackenzie is Nikki’s nemesis and they are always causing trouble for each other. In the third and most recent book, Nikki and Mackenzie face off in the talent show. At first it was only to show Mackenzie that she isn’t the best, but suddenly she gets kicked out and has no the best, but suddenly she gets kicked out and has no way to pay the bill! Now Nikki is desperate and she needs to pay the bill! Now Nikki is desperate and she needs to get that full scholarship included in the first-place prizes! What will happen? will happen?
