There is this new

thing called a Kindle. A

60 seconds. A Kindle is

very light and you can

have 1,500 books at your

vice.

My Opinion

I like the

Kindle because it is light,

it cost a couple hundred

dollars but the books are

only 5 or $10. I like that it's

light because 1,500 books

fell like 2,000 pounds but a

Kindle is only about 5

pounds. I don’ t like the

Kindle because if someone

asks to borrow a book I

would have to give them my

whole kindle and I don’t

trust other people with my

Kindle.

MY OPINION.

I think that Pluto should be a

dwarf planet. Astronomers have came

up with a set of rules. The two rules it

follows is 1. It has to be nearly round

2.it has to orbit the sun. The rule it

doesn’t follow is 3. It should not cross another planets orbit witch it

crosses Neptune's orbit. It fits two of

the three rules, doesn’t it?

Opinions around the house!! I asked my mom, "do you think Pluto should be

a planet?”She Responded ,”I think that since it

doesn’t fall within the guidelines, NO.”I went

over to my dad upstairs he caught up with me

and said, "I think it should be a planet.” I asked,

“Why?” He said, "Because it was originally a

planet and for historical purposes should con-

tinue to be classified as an honorary planet.” I

asked my sister “yes, beause it has always been a

planet but it is just not as big as the other plan-

ets.”

Pluto when it

was hot!!!

Apolo Anton Oh no Apolo Ohno was born my 22,1982, is a

short track speed skater and a 7 time

medalist, two gold, two silver, and three

bronze.

His Sport!!!.

The sport that Ohno competes in is

short track. Short track has been around for

about 100 years. Short track is basically

speed skating on a shorter track. The races

are broken into groups of 4 to 6 skaters

depending on the distance. The top two in

each race advance to the next round leading

to the final.

The skater who takes the inside has

an advantage, that’s why the start-ing positions are different. The

skaters start by running on the ice. It can be difficult to pass. Accidents

are numerous in short-track. A helmet is worn to protect the skat-

ers head. The suit that is worn, makes air go around easier. Gloves

are important because the hands are used to push off the ice and

keep their balance in the turns. There is also a neck protector,

knee pads, and shin pads.
