Duane's responsibilities included the management of key accounts, and the development of his region, which included the hiring, training, and supervision of independent manufacturers representitives. During the past year Duane has had outstanding performance, breaking the company record for sales growth within a region, as well as total sales for a year period in a region, and was the only sales manager ever to meet the maximum compensation payout. This success was a direct result of the hard work and effort put forth by Duane. Based on my experience in working with Duane, I found him to be a quick study, picking up on the technical aspects of the products and services offered by BMI, as well as an organized individual, with detailed plans on growing his sales region profitably. Duane in addition has outstanding communication skills, which allowed him to operate effectively from the regional office, with little corporate support.
