A great turn out. Affton had 81 members in attendance out of a total of 187 total members and guests. Everyone helped and all had a good time. Thanks to Activities, Ladies auxiliary, Kitchen, and all. All the other Lodges had nothing but praise on how well everything went. It was fun from start to finish with games, dunking booth, cake walk, and the Olympics. Affton won third place in spite of my tricycle race failure. That kicked my butt. I’m too old and fat. I was sore for two days after-wards. ( I was the only one with safety gear).HA .HA.
The wrestling match was a big hit as well. Wrestling fans do like to drink and eat. There will be another match October 2nd. All of us as ELKS should be proud to be part of 729,213 members. This past year ELKS donated $208.8 million dollars to charities all across our country. It makes me proud to be an ELK and an AMERICAN as I’m sure it does you also.Thank-you all.

Hope everyone is doing well. This month has really been boom-ing for us. Wednesdays are doing well. Getting a lot more members to come and enjoy dinners. How about that prime rib sandwich!!! No one complained, not even Bob Linton. Bingo has been a little sluggish but not bad. If we could ever get over these COVID scares it will be great again. Last Saturday we hosted the Metro East District picnic.
