JA in a DayDuPont Elementary recently participatedin the JA in a Day program sponsored byJunior Achievement of Chattanooga.
JA in a Day is a fun, intensive crashcourse on business and economicconcepts for school students, taught bythe employees of JA corporate partners. JA's traditional school curricula arecondensed into one, actionpacked andexciting daylong experience. Studentslearn basic economic principles, how business works, career opportunities, regional, nationaland global markets and entrepreneurship. Classroom teachers request specific JA curriculafor their students and JA volunteers present the lessons.
A big thanks to the corporate volunteers from Blood Assurance, Pinnacle Bank, Mountain TopToys, Kenco, and Regions for helping to enrich the lives of our students at DuPont!
