JOSH HOUK Professional Licensed Auctioneer PROFILE Josh Houk is a third generation auctioneer hailing from Emmett, Idaho. He joined Stokes Auction Group, Inc. in 2008 and has proven he is invaluable as both a bid spotter and auctioneer. Josh has worked with groups of all sizes and is particularly welcomed for his professional manner and ease at which he interacts with the auction committee and guests. He was brought up in the auction business and greatly influenced by his Grandfather Ken Troutt, Sr, 1967 World Champion Livestock Auctioneer. Mentored by his veteran auctioneer uncles Kenny Jr. and Kelly Troutt, Josh attained the title of 2010 Idaho State Champion Auctioneer. He works over 200 auctions a year and travels throughout the Northwest conducting charity and cattle auctions as well as his weekly auto auction circuit in Utah, Seattle and Idaho. Josh brings with him a genuine enthusiasm for the auction method and way of life. "Every time I walk in the door I want to bring the same sincerity and positive energy that my grandfather exuded. He was a true example of a humanitarian and being able to help charitable organizations makes me feel like he would be proud of me and the path I have chosen." Josh enjoys spending his free time with his family as well as being the assistant coach of his high school wrestling team.
