IVY HILLS NEIGHBORHOOD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS SD-05-043 Updated 8/14/2019 The Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW) continues to transform Indianapolis neighborhoods through the restoration of deteriorating thoroughfares, residential streets, sidewalks, bridges, as well as addressing neighborhood drainage and flooding issues. This investment continues to transform neighborhoods throughout Indianapolis. These projects create local jobs and increase public safety for neighborhoods and residents, which supports DPW’s commitment to make Indianapolis a more livable city. PROJECT NUMBER: SD-05-043 PROJECT STATUS: Construction Ready ANTICIPATED CONSTRUCTION PERIOD: September 2019 -- June 2020 ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $1.8M NEIGHBORHOOD: Ivy Hills DPW Project SD-05-043 will include drainage improvements in several locations of the Ivy Hills neighborhood, including the intersections of Graham Road with Barnstable Court and with Attleboro Court; near the intersections of N Whittier Place with Susan Drive and with Kilmer Lane; and along E 79th Street to Allisonville Road. The project will also include the retrofit of the pond east of Rucker Road to increase its capacity. This project will be in conjunction with DPW project CL-05-001, a culvert replacement in 2018 near 7968 Rucker Road. Clear away any leaves from storm drains.

Keep driveway culverts in good repair.

Mow grass to 8 inches or less.

Remove trash and litterthat may be blockingstormwater inlets.
