Rated Among Best Real Estate Agents in America

The prestigious ‘Best Real Estate Agents in America’ list, now in its second year,

was recently unveiled in partnership between Real Trends and Trulia.com. It

honors only the top real estate agents in each state, and making the list for the

second time is our own Ivona Kutermankiewicz.

Kutermankiewicz earned entree into the exclusive list in Illinois by

completing 51 real estate transactions during the past 12 months. That

is well above the industry average of seven transactions.

Real Trends President Steve Murray said because of the list’s stringent standards—

which requires a minimum of 50 completed transactions or $20 million in sales—

only the best of the best need apply.

“With today’s release of the 2014 America’s Best Real Estate Agents list, an elite group of real estate agents across the

country are receiving well-deserved recognition. These agents are far above average and have built enormously successful

Enriching the lives of babies in the neonatal intensive care unit

(NICU) at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago

by providing transportation and parking to families, thereby

allowing parents to spend more time with their critically ill baby.

INTRODUCTION Carrie and Terry Meghie always thought their son, Jackson, would live a long and

healthy life. Sadly, the Meghie’s precious baby did not live to see his first birthday.

Because of a chronic lung condition, Jackson spent all but 48 hours of his life in

the NICU, the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit for critically ill or premature

newborns. He passed away in his mother’s arms while holding his father’s hand on

September 7, 2012 - just shy of 10 months old.

After Jackson’s death, Carrie and Terry asked themselves what they could do to help other families with children in the

NICU. The answer was immediate: ease the burden of the astounding parking fees that are preventing too many families

from visiting their children.

ABOUT JACKSON CHANCE FOUNDATION Carrie and Terry Meghie started the Jackson Chance Foundation (JCF) to enrich the lives of families with babies in the NICU

by allowing them to spend more time with their baby. (JCF is an Illinois non for-profit, tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization.)

The foundation has partnered with the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago to launch the NICU Transportation

Program, which provides complimentary transportation (parking, CTA/Metra vouchers) to all families for every day their

child is in the NICU. Prior to the NICU Transportation Program, monthly or daily parking passes did not exist, and families

did not have access to in and out privileges. The Program is fully funded by JCF.
