restaurant he opened last year. He is an experimental chef who explores

many different cultures and traditions dicovering new, unusual recipes.

His current most popular but unusual technique of cooking is using hay.

This is an old Scandinavian tradition, that dates back to the Vikings. For Danish chef Christoffer Hruskova, this is a way of reconnecting his family heritage with his passion for food. Using these cooking methods, Christoffer will guide you through fun, simple but delicious recipes.

Q. The film is marvellous because it makes it very clear how

important it is to find joy in your life. Can you tell us how you go

about finding the personal joy in your life and what it was?

“Well, that’s a very complicated question. I think that finding joy

is probably tantamount to finding yourself and being comfortable in your own skin. I think that’s a

joyful place because one you get there it’s like ice cream. I think that

whoever comes into your orbit gets a part of that reflection that is

the joy of you. “

Q. If you had to make a list of three things you’d like to do before you

die, what would be on it? And is there a favourite lady you’d like to

see before you depart?

“I’ve just recently taken up golf so most of the things on my list have

to do with golf [laughs]. I’m also very fond of a light business jet, so I’d like to get it before it’s too late.

Which lady would I like to meet? Um, I don’t know that there’s

anybody left that I didn’t meet. But the one that I really wanted to meet died and that was Princess

Diana. I really wanted to get to know her. I like her.”

Q. What do you enjoy watching on T.V when you have spare time?

“I dont generally watch television, in an attempt to avoid repetitive shows and lack of cultural and relevant content. A channel that can encompass quality t.v into theur schedule would be refreshing.

Q. Your son also appears in the film as your son. How was working with him?

“It was fun. Being my son, he had a lot of trepidation – not so much about how well he would do but more about how well I would think of him. I’d have to constantly reassure him that he was doing it for the director. “

Q. What is your favourite comedy and why?

“I don’t remember what my favourite comedy film is – truthfully! I saw Borat and I thought I was not going to be able to get out of the theatre because I was in so much pain from the laughter. So, was that my favourite comedy film? It may be the funniest but I’m not sure it’s my favourite. I remember some Abbott and Costello films that left me weak from hysterical laughter.”

MARTIN SCORSESE - RAGING BULL

Robert De Niro read Jake La Motta’s memoir Raging Bull in 1974

while making The Godfather: Part II and saw the story’s potential. It took four years of drafts and

persuasion to get his friend and collaborator Martin Scorsese

interested.

Scorsese went to boxing bouts at Madison Square Garden for

inspiration and was struck by two details he spotted: a blood-soaked sponge wiped across the fighter’s

back and blood dripping off the ropes. He included both in the

film’s final fight scene. Scorsese wanted the La Motta’s brutal

beating in his final fight with Sugar Ray Robinson to feel like a horror

film, so he based the rapid cuts on the shower scene from Psycho,

even using Alfred Hitchcock’s original shot list.

In preparation for his role, De Niro fought in three real Brooklyn boxing matches and also sparred hundreds of rounds in a 14th Street gym with La Motta, who said he was professional standard and one of the best middleweights he had ever seen. De Niro gained weight for the later scenes in the movie by going on a culinary tour of Italy and France, bingeing on three large meals per day, with lots of pasta, meat, butter, ice cream and beer. He gained 60lb in four months and said, “The first 15lb was fun, the rest was hard work.”. When Robert De Niro won an Oscar for Best Actor, the real-life Jake La Motta was there.
