Needle-Free Y-site An administration set may have one, two or three Y-sites

Needle-Free Y-site Flat, swabable, and clear. The clarity is crucial for visualizing and ensuring air does not enter the tubing

Luer Lock Connects to an extension set or catheter which allows fluid to transfer from the bag to the patient

Back Check Valve Prevents reverse flow of fluid

Roller Clamp Controls rate and ensures a smooth, accurate flow of fluid, which varies for each patient and fluid

Non-removable slide clamp Used to eliminate air bubbles and stop fluid flow temporarily to avoid resetting the roller clamp flow rate

Vented Universal Drip Chamber Crystal clear and pliable with wide finger flanges and a very sharp spike
