Introduction
39
I want to start with some words about our commission and the goals for this session.
The development and status of the tablesoccer federations all over the world are different. There are several reasons, like long tradition vs. young history of play; or economical conditions. Therefore, it is difficult or nearly impossible for me and ourcommission to present you the right way or a road map in details which fits for all of you. But we can help you with our expierence and show you best practice examples. Models of good development that can guide you through your development.
The examples I chose to show you today should represent a huge variety of possibilities… the selection is of course not random … I chose things I know about well and therefore, put a focus on my own country as well as of my region, but I also includedinternational examples as far as I knew about them and had acessability to material I canpresent here.
